Mace was never taught the ability either. And Ahsoka has never been shown to have died yet, the reason you can hear her voice is because the novelization shows rey was sort of looking into the world between worlds if that makes sense, so it would likely not age well.

I sure hope we don’t have mace and ahsoka etc… it breaks the lore.

Changing it to I am a jedi may be one of the best changes for far in this project IMO.

For S1E00 I think like some have suggested before. Making it seem like Anakin and obiwan actually don’t hate eachother would be far better and help minimize the tonal whiplash that you get when watching it compared to the rest of the clone wars. I saw some really good clips in this thread that IMo fixed that alot.

Definitely agree, I think the clone line would be benefit the film a ton.

A couple small things I noticed while watching the latest workprint.

During the scene at 17:30 onwards, when Poe screams it kind of cuts in at a weird time that feels very edited if that makes sense. I would prefer not cutting any of his screaming at all while keeping the other additions you added.

Very small nitpick here also, at 41:40-41:42 you can hear han say faintly “…out of there” which was cut from I think… Hal’s edit…? + This edit. However like I mentioned before, you can still faintly hear the line and its slightly distracting when you know where to look for it.

Other than that, I absolutely love it. Great movie now, and I look forward to the full release.

Did the latest update add in the Palpatine hints from Ha’s Restructured edit?

Thats a good idea, I could see that pote tally being really good.

Not a fan of having him in the opening crawl personally.

If you ever do TLJ, rekindled would be an amazing base to go off of.

Yeah I can see it, I just don’t recall anything like that happening in any other movies (thats not a problem though in intself)

One Of my other worries about having more sith eyes is that even Anakin of all people, Only had sith eyes for maybe… 5 or 10 seconds in episode 3, not even when he was murdering children so I’m worried about it being unprecedented.

My only worry is that if we do go overboard on it. It may look more fanedity. I’m still curious to see it though. Loving this newest version.

I was thinking about this today actually, I loved that edit that was posted here awhile ago.

^ I do agree that it is a little brown.

I also like this version better.
I prefer something being a bit too subtle compared to a bit too much.

Before it looked almost like rey got like “God Anime eyes” and went super saiyan or something.

I still feel like something is slightly missing there, but I can’t put my finger on it, especially after looking at other sith eyes.

Overall though I like it.

I would also like the eyes to be more subtle. I love the idea, but something with them seems slightly off.

I’m tempted to think it might look better if they only came up at the final moment where rey does her overhead swing towards kylo, but that may not be as good as what you have currently.

Like what you did Sherlock! Only thing that doesn’t sound quite right to me is the background fire and such. The dialogue is great though.
