To answer the decade old question, yes, I can disregard Leia as Luke’s sister, for the simple reason that there’s no real proof that they’re related. Ben merely says ‘Your insight serves you well’ in response to Luke’s intuition. He’s already known to lie when it serves his purposes, so he could merely have been allowing Luke to believe that Leia was his sister to make sure that the real twin stayed ‘safely anonymous’.
The hint of Leia’s Force sensitivity only appeared after Luke basically said that she should be terrifyingly powerful with the Force, and this tracks in my mind to how the Force should really work - if you believe in it, you can become strong in it. Even The Force Awakens doesn’t ruin this idea, since she would have had 30 years to develop some real Force ability and Ben junior would have grown up believing that he was destined for greatness.

There are plenty of people who appreciate at least some of the Special Edition changes, so I’d definitely like to see that happen if it didn’t distract from the work on the originals. The SE shots in the official blu-ray are often more degraded (color loss, detail loss) than the unaltered shots for whatever reason, so even if you were to get just the SE shots scanned it would be an important contribution.

The Ancient Fear was a title which was tossed around for 7 online. I like Shadow of the Empire more than that, but if we’re not doing grand titles then The Starkiller Edit is perfectly serviceable.

Fun fact: I watched the pilot for Enterprise for the first time right before watching Discovery.
Both pilots left me with much the same feeling.
I love Enterprise. All of the senior staff are great. Archer, T’Pol, Trip, Reed, Hoshi, and Travis. They all are interesting characters in their own right. And Scott Bakula is a fantastic actor.
The main problem Enterprise has is actually addressed by Archer himself—they keep getting drawn in to the temporal cold war so much that Archer has to straight up tell Daniels to knock it off.
I haven’t seen more than the pilot for Enterprise, but save from the song choices it wasn’t bad. The actors are decent, but I’ve no desire to see the rest of the show. Same with Discovery. I enjoy Michelle Yeoh but the crew interaction doesn’t endear me to them at all.

Have the Emperor simply say ‘An entire legion awaits them’, and also beef up the battle so it looks like a legion of Stormtroopers.
The most enduring aspect of Avatar was its worldwide appeal. Whether or not the sequels do particularly well in the states or Europe is rather beside the point.
Even Luke complained he couldn’t see a thing while wearing one.
That’s because they’re so high-end that they are custom built to correct for any ocular deficiencies, and the trooper Luke killed was extremely nearsighted.

There couldn’t be a more dissimilar voice from JEJ than McKenna’s.
How about this - Boushh informs C-3PO: ‘Chewie will be outside the exit. Don’t be late’.
Then after Leia’s plan (preferably with gas) goes south, we see Chewie getting thrown in prison and then Han is thrown in with him. This doesn’t allow for the Chewie reveal, but at least it makes some sense. 3PO (and R2) needed to know something about the plan, if nothing more than when and where to leave the building. R2 would already know, but it makes sense for Boushh to tell 3PO at the last possible time so as to minimize the chance of him screwing things up. Of course he blabs anyway, and it’s enough to get Chewie caught.
C-3PO’s dialogue ‘Lando Calrissian and poor Chewbacca never returned from this awful place’ makes sense, since they’re working together. Lando’s the inside man, Chewie’s on the outside.
For what it’s worth, I hate this guy’s design.
He’d fit right in at Jabba’s palace, unfortunately.
