Actually, the original name WAS going to be "Indiana Smith", but then they realized that there already was a character called "Nevada Smith" so they changed it.
I picked all of those up at Wal-Mart, but apparently the Dr. Pepper Heritage is only sold in places where Pepsi handles Dr. Pepper distribution (the DPH is probably made with whatever sugar they're using for the Pepsi/Dew Throwbacks).
That's my childhood. Right there.

I don't drink carbonated high fructose corn syrup water at all.
Well then you'll be interested in the new Throwback/Heritage thing going on right now. All of them are with cane sugar instead of HFCS!
Apparently they're only selling them until February 22 though. :(

Nanner Split, in accordance with my recent decision to allow appeals to the HALL OF SHAME, you have 24 hours to explain how your post relates to Star Wars: The Original Trilogy.

This one hurts a bit, as Nanner was one of the inspirations for this thread. However, I can't afford to make exceptions.
PROBATION!!!
This thread is now about dogs in Halloween costumes
Edit: CURSES! Foiled again!
Audacity's good, and it's free.
Do yourself a huge favor and download "The Ricky Gervais Show". They are absolutely hilarious. They recorded three or four series of podcasts and are now doing "The Ricky Gervais Guide to...." audiobooks.
If you want to see what they're like, check out the download page here:
Pilkipedia.co.uk Download List
I would recommend downloading an episode from XFM series 2. They used to have a show on a radio station before they started doing podcasts.
Also, the first series isn't available for download anymore because they've been turned into an animated TV series to premier on HBO next month ( Can't wait!)
"Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid"
Why did I wait so long to see this movie?! An all-around classic.

I think it's OK to curse here, dude. My suggestion: "Fuck" out of "shit".
Hahahaha!
On topic:
"Stop Making Sense": Only the best concert movie ever. I think it's hard to watch it and not be at least a little bit of a Talking Heads fan afterward.

If you don't want to answer that's cool, C3PX, but where do you live? If I were to believe the stereotypes, it seems like you live in the heart of the Bible Belt, surrounded by trailer parks, Wal-Marts, and Southern Baptist mega-churches based on what you just said.
Hey, how did you know where I live?!?! :P
I had a couple of IRL friends (BlackMage and sbpplr) here a while back, but they haven't posted in a really long time.
I've also hung out with Psycho Dayv at his house before, if that counts. :P

Ferris, give Conan a chance. He may grow on you. When he first took over Late Night from Letterman, I thought he was terrible, but he grew on me.
Even Conan jokes about the fact that the first three years of "Late Night" weren't very good.
I just wish he'd bring back Abe Vigoda one more time. :P

I haven't watched either Conan or Jay in years, but back in the ninties I absolutely loved Late Night with Conan O'Brien (back when Andy Richter was co-host). Haven't been keeping up with the present situation, but due to my former fondness for O'Brien, and never having cared much for the man with the world's largest chin, I'd side with the redheaded freckled one.
Conan brought Andy Richter back for The Tonight Show!
My parents have watched Leno for years, and on the off chance that I caught an episode, it seemed like on the rare occasions that something on the show was funny, it had nothing to do with Jay. "Headlines" were submitted by viewers, and "Jay-walking" relied on people on the street. He barely says anything during the celebrity interviews, he just laughs at the guest's jokes. All he ever really does is waggle his head and say "Have you heard about this?" Even my parents skipped his opening monologue because it was too dull. He's figured out how to do the safest, dullest, most lowest-common-denominator type of comedy, and that 's why he's been kept on. If anyone has ever seen the TV show "Extras", Leno's "Tonight Show" is pretty much a real-life "When the Whistle Blows".
Conan's humor is a lot more on the silly side, and I understand that that isn't always for everyone. But it is exactly the type of humor I enjoy, and I'll have to side completely with Team CoCo.
Conan all the way. Jay Leno hasn't been funny in...well, ever.
So ferris, you tellin' me there's angels in my outfield?
I saw it tonight, and my reaction was pretty much the same as Warbler's. The only thing I didn't really like was the big deus ex machina "Eywa has heard you!" charge of the animals thing. Thought it was a little bit of a cop-out (but then again, so was the end of the Battle of Pelennor in the third Lord of the Rings movie but I still like it :P )
Now if only Rick Warren's shenanigans in Uganda would get more publicity.
Usually I use VLC for mp3's and movies, but I'll also use foobar2000 or HaiHaiSoft Universal Player on the off chance that I have a format VLC won't play.
When is that crusty old jackass going to die already?
I'm currently on my third bowl of Apple Cinnamon Cheerios. I think this is becoming a problem.

you're not saying there's something wrong with candidate having a College Education are you. Imo, there would be something wrong with a candidate not having a college education.
I've done a little work on te sentence to hopefully help you along with that one.
I've seen that word/phrase thrown around a lot, and I have to ask, what on earth does that even mean? What's the difference between a regular college education and an ELITE!!!!11!1!1one!!1! college education? Is that a separate box you have to check on your application?
