Here’s the broadcast with no music (with SFX)

Did you ever manage to recover this scene from your computer?
Hello!
Sorry for not having done anything these weeks, I have started the work and we are shooting during July and August, in September I will have more free time to finish the clips of Ben Solo Force Ghosts and Luke’s hair on the island. 😃
MTFBWY for everyone! 😃No excuses Jonh! Forget work, your focus should clearly be on a fan edit for a bunch of Star Wars fans. Get your priorities straight! 😉
I hope that sarcasm isn’t lost in translation. 😉
Really glad you’re able to work again Jonh. Good luck with your project.
Wasn’t that virtually Ivans edit without the “it belongs to you now” VO?
I would argue that was by design. In life, things don’t happen in such a perfect order. I think he was trying to make the characters more fleshed out, especially as they had so little depth or development in The Force Awakens.
Well, movies aren’t real life. It’s like complaining about how nobody sneezes in Jurassic Park, or how nobody goes to the bathroom in Avengers. That sort of awkward stuff is typically removed in movies to increase tension. As a third-person observer, stupid jokes and awkward humor can kill tension flat.
The Diplodocus sneezes in Jurassic Park and iron man pees in his suit 😉
I’ve seen so many fan edits now I barely remember the theatrical versions.
Adywan’s attention to detail was one of the main reason I got into fan editing. I strongly recommend his work. Phenomenal stuff!
But Sad/Grumpy Luke and Han being a smuggler again were both decisions Abrams made.
Too end TFA on such a climax only to be tossed away in TLJ felt like a complete middle finger, imo.
Was Grump Luke JJs idea? It seems to have come from Johnson. Hopefully all these issues will be fixed at some point in the future.
Of course it would’ve. I’m talking about Disney Star Wars. It’s a much more “play it safe” company that doesn’t usually address capitalism etc in its movies.
No. That could potentially endanger the survival of this site. The last thing we need is to bring more attention to ourselves. I think people should find their way here instead of the vice-versa. Its a niche corner in the galaxy, I’m sure most of us would like it to stay that way.
Totally agree! I found this place after getting sick of Reddit abuse. I wouldn’t want this forum filled with scum and villainy, so I specifically don’t mention it by name in my videos or social media. Protection is key!
I was referring to TFA. Too many conversations going on.
Man, I wish I could afford those 3D X-Wing models. I’ve been playing with the free one but it just doesn’t have the same amount of detail.

Absolutely! Removed Palp from the crawl and moved his appearance back so your protagonists and antagonists are both hunting for the waywinders at the same time. It makes WAY more sense this way.
There’s a way in audition where you can compile a remix of 2 tracks to fit a length of time perfectly. I’ve not tried it personally yet but I was thinking of using it on the same sequence.
I’d love to try to simulate “I knew there was light in you”.
Really nice tone to that. I like it.
I think TLJ is definately a diamond in the rough. The bad choices were epic fails (which people focus on) but there were many great undertones to the movie.
I liked the darker message of capitalism and slavery used in it. Most people hated it but to me it was amazing to introduce those themes to star wars and a “kids movie”
TLJ just lost me completely at the tossing of the Saber, Han going back to his old ways and “no hope” Luke.
This is fantastic information. I use Premiere Pro but being colourblind it’s an absolute nightmare to get the LUT right, especially to match it exactly with other scenes that people have made from the standard blu-ray.
I’ll give these a try to see if I can find a work around. Thanks!

I cut the line entirely. I felt it undermine Snoke and I now just have Palp saying “I made Snoke” and the next scene you see is Kylo walking past the clones. It flows much better that way and doesn’t crap on the other movies.Interesting and certainly a good choice. My only concern is that we are missing the impression of kylo being manipulated by palps from the beginning (being haunted by his grandfather in e7 and e8).
That was the point of removing it. I’ve added visions of Exegol in TLJ but I wanted Palp to be a new threat and not manipulating anyone until TROS. I thought it weakened the story on all sides trying to shoehorn Palp into “the shadows”
What are you using to rip the 4K HDR stream? I have a feeling that might partially be to blame. I don’t have capabilities currently to rip 4K BD. I would imagine if there was an option to not rip the HDR version, but just 4K, or if there was a LUT to control the blacks/contrast that you could ingest.
I couldn’t convert it from disk either. Someone did it for me. As much as I love the idea of redoing all my edits in 4k I think I’m gonna have to stick to standard Blu-Ray on this one 😦
That’s what I did. 1080p is good enough for me.
I did all my others in 720p stereo and was happy with that a few years back. I just don’t wanna put a year’s work into this edit and wish I did 4k in the future. I’m super happy I’ve mastered 5.1 surround editing now though 😄
Í´ve always been troubled by how the „I have been every voice, you have ever heard, inside your head“ line because it is just so fast. In the trailer they had the perfect pace.
Do someone share my concern and wish to fix it?

I agree! Mentioning Mustafar works for your edit. Just remember that what ever you use is going to be superior to the original s***show.
Is there any way around it? I’m killing my computer with these 27 hour conversions that are unusable.
