Blonde Bombshell by Movies Remastered
Time

This is a continuation of the r-rated Barbie multiverse that I’m creating after the backlash of me creating a PG version of the Barbie movie…

After speaking with some female MR Discord members, I realized there’s an overwhelming dominance of male-based fan edits. So, I’ve decided to create a multiverse following Margot Robbie in various roles, all connected by her journey to find her place in the world.

Synopsis:

Kayla Vanderpoel is a fearless young journalist who thrives on chaos. When she’s sent to cover the war in Afghanistan, she learns to survive in a world where danger and adrenaline blur with purpose and pride. Embedded with soldiers and fellow reporters, Kayla builds a name for herself through courage, wit, and ambition—until the toll of conflict pushes her to walk away from the battlefield in search of a safer, more stable career.

Returning to the United States, Kayla lands a promising position at one of the most powerful media networks in the country. But the corporate world proves to be its own kind of war zone. What begins as an exciting new start slowly devolves into a culture of control, manipulation, and silence—where success demands obedience, and truth has a price.

Haunted by her experiences abroad and struggling to preserve her integrity, Kayla finds herself trapped between the career she’s fought for and the values that once defined her. As the walls close in, she must confront the same fear she faced under fire—only this time, the enemy wears a suit.

Intentions:

This is one of the first movies to watch after my Barbie – PG Edit, where I put Barbie in various roles that is fa removed from the brightness and smiles of Barbieland.
In this fanedit, Kayla: From Battlefield to Broadcast reimagines Margot Robbie’s roles in Whiskey Tango Foxtrot and Bombshell as one continuous story — the evolution of a journalist who trades the chaos of war for the illusion of safety inside corporate media. The edit follows Kayla from the deserts of Afghanistan, where she earns her courage under fire, to the sterile halls of a newsroom where power is more dangerous because it hides behind civility. By merging these two worlds, the film shows how the same hierarchies, manipulation, and silence follow women no matter where they go. The battlefield simply changes shape.
This project exists to expose how trauma and control transcend environments. The dust, noise, and danger of war fade into the quiet suffocation of office politics, but the fight for truth remains the same. Kayla’s journey becomes a metaphor for every woman promised empowerment in systems designed to suppress her voice. In this cut, courage isn’t about surviving explosions — it’s about surviving expectation, ambition, and the cost of being heard in a world that prefers silence.

Neon Dreams: The Price of Fame by Movies Remastered (18+ Only)
Time

⚠️ EPILEPSY WARNING: FLASHING LIGHTS AND VERY GRAPHIC IMAGES.⚠️

This is a coming of age, showbiz drama that doesn’t hold back…

Synopsis:

From small-town obscurity to international superstardom, Neon Dreams explores the music industry through three women at different stages of the same dream. Though their paths never cross, their struggles echo one another, bound by ambition, loss, and the price of chasing the spotlight.

Violet Valenski (17), a teenager from the UK, longs to escape her bleak life and sees music as her only way out. With no parents to guide her, she clings to the memory of her mother, a presence that lingers in flashes, shaping her every step. Her mother watches from God’s waiting room as Violet enters a talent competition, guided by Vladimir “Vlad” Brajkovic, her gruff but loyal manager, who harbors a secret: he is no ordinary mentor, but a guardian angel sent by Violet’s late mother to protect her.

Noni Jean (23), a British singer who conquered America, has everything Violet dreams of. Yet behind her fame lies exhaustion and disillusionment. Once desperate for validation, Noni now yearns to break free from the glossy image crafted for her and envies the unshakable dominance of Jocelyn, the reigning global icon.

Jocelyn (25), at the peak of her career, embodies the perfection others crave, but inside she is unraveling. Still reeling from grief over her mother’s death, she is paralyzed by writer’s block. Her glamorous empire threatens to collapse under the weight of silence.

Together, these stories form a fractured mirror of the music industry: Violet, the dreamer; Noni, the survivor; and Jocelyn, the icon. Each is haunted by the shadow of their mother, each torn between desire and destruction.

Intentions:

I have spent 22 years in the music industry so this is a very personal project for me. Working with unsigned artists and helping them break through, up to working huge tours and festivals, I wanted to create a movie that captured every stage of that process through the eyes of three women at different points in their lives and careers.

Neon Dreams was conceived as a meditation on fame, identity, and the fragile relationship between mothers, daughters and partners. By weaving together the lives of three women at different stages of the music industry, the film reflects how ambition evolves with age, how success reshapes self-worth, and how loss lingers behind every spotlight.

The intention is not simply to tell three stories, but to show one universal journey fractured into distinct perspectives. Violet embodies raw hope, Noni represents the struggle to redefine success once it has been achieved, and Jocelyn reveals the emptiness that can lie at the peak of celebrity. Their lives never intersect, but together they create a mirror that audiences can step into — a reminder that fame is both alluring and destructive.

The presence of Violet’s mother, watching from “God’s waiting room,” anchors the narrative in something spiritual and human. It suggests that even in a world obsessed with image and power, the quiet forces of love and protection still endure.

Ultimately, Neon Dreams is meant to challenge viewers to question the cost of visibility. In a culture that worships stardom, the film asks: is greatness worth it if the spotlight erases who you are?

Fast Fashion: The Price of Beauty by Movies Remastered (Horror 18+ Only)
Time

⚠️ EPILEPSY WARNING: FLASHING LIGHTS AND VERY GRAPHIC IMAGES.⚠️

This is a psychologic horror that doesn’t hold back…

Synopsis:

In a world where beauty is manufactured like weapons, four girls are born perfect, yet each is consumed by the same machinery. Jessie, 16, takes her first uncertain steps into the industry, where her beauty is as coveted as her innocence. Sue, 19, is a flawless product by design, placed directly into the prime spotlight for maximum impact. Lily-Rose, 23, already considered past her time by industry standards, clings desperately to the immense popularity built on her looks. Anonymous, 26, is banished to the shadows, preying on the loneliness of men to reclaim a fleeting sense of power after the camera flashes have faded.

At first, they flourish in the ritual of performance. Runways stretch like temples of worship, where idols are offered not to gods but to commerce. Every mirror reflects a stranger. Every smile is a command. Behind the applause lingers the whisper of something older, something that does not care for fame or flesh, only consumption.

The system feeds upon them. Men guide their steps like puppeteers, shaping them while nurturing insecurities that the industry thrives on. Women watch their youth as if it were a disease. Rivals circle, not with teeth but with sharpened eyes. Each girl begins to drift, her reflection no longer her own, staring back with hunger, feeding on envy, jealousy and hate.
The void returns. In the silence between flashes, they glimpse the true face of their world: an endless abyss that swallows bodies whole, leaving only skin and echoes. By twenty-one, they are already considered dead to the world, discarded and replaced. Their beauty, their youth, their very selves recycled like a dress worn once before being thrown away.

Imagine if Stanley Kubrick and H. P. Lovecraft had four daughters that grew up to be supermodels. The result is clinical yet cosmic, unsettling yet elegant, precise in its beauty and merciless in its cruelty.

The applause never stops. It continues long after the models have vanished.

Intentions:

The purpose of this fanedit is not to entertain but to expose the dark side of the fashion industry. Fashion, idol-making, and celebrity culture present themselves as the celebration of beauty, yet beneath their glossy veneer lies a machinery of exploitation as vast and impersonal as any cosmic horror. Models and idols are not treated as people. They are constructed, displayed, consumed, and discarded with the same speed as a seasonal trend.

By merging four disparate character arcs into a single narrative, this fanedit strips away the illusions of glamour and forces the viewer to confront the ritualistic, almost sacrificial nature of the industry. The runway becomes an altar. The audience becomes the cult. The idol, the model, is worshipped only to be destroyed by time itself.

The intent is to create a mirror that does not flatter.

To reflect back at the audience the hunger that drives fast fashion: the hunger for youth, for beauty, for novelty, for perfection. All of it indifferent to the lives it devours.

The intention is to reflect the everyday struggles women endure, power imbalances, manipulation, desire, and strip them back to reveal raw emotion and vulnerability. It explores the machinery that shapes them, the abyss lurking behind every spotlight, and the relentless cycle of creation and erasure that defines modern culture.

In the end, Fast Fashion is a warning. Not of monsters in the dark, but of the ones we applaud under the brightest lights.

Barbie Squad by Movies Remastered
Time

Synopsis:

Barbie has it all: beauty, charm, and Ken’s unconditional love. But perfection quickly turns to boredom. Restless and craving more than Barbieland’s endless smiles, she breaks Ken’s heart and steps into the real world, hungry for excitement.

There she meets The Joker, a figure as wild and dangerous as the freedom she is chasing. Infatuated, she gives herself over to his chaos, only to discover heartbreak in its cruelest form: betrayal at the hands of the man she thought was her true love. From the ashes of Barbie’s choices rises Harley Quinn, her innocence shattered and her identity reborn.

But Barbie’s crossing does not come without consequence. The gateway between worlds is now wide open, unleashing waves of beings who were never meant to exist outside their toy boxes. Assassins, mutants, G.I. Joes, and even Batman pours into reality, each with their own agenda. Amid the chaos, Harley is drafted into a “Suicide Squad”, where broken toys and twisted souls are turned into reluctant weapons

Barbie Squad reimagines the dream girl’s fall from grace, fusing worlds of fantasy and fury. This is the story of how Barbie traded pink dreams for madness, and how her choices unleashed a multiverse of mayhem.

Intentions:

Following the unexpected response to my Barbie – Miss Andry Cut, I decided to take a bold new direction. While the edit was well-received by many, a vocal minority profoundly criticized the idea of reshaping such an iconic doll into a PG-friendly story for kids. Instead of defending that choice, I chose to embrace the challenge by leaning into the criticism and flipping the concept on its head.

With Barbie Squad, I have taken Barbie into an entirely different world: one that is dark, chaotic, and unapologetically R-rated. Rather than a story about optimism and empowerment, this version explores Barbie’s flaws, choices, and consequences.

This fanedit became an opportunity to push Barbie into unfamiliar territory and place her at the center of a world she was never designed to survive. By colliding her story with the darker corners of comic book lore, the edit transforms a symbol of perfection into a fractured anti-hero, showing what happens when fantasy is forced to live by the rules of reality.

Star Wars: Andor (Season 2)(Continues Chapters IV to VII film series)

I have to admit that I find the second season kinda boring. Love the look and the acting is well done but the story is a little meh. Season one is my favorite of all the Disney SW content. I’m still looking forward to the third part but expectations have been lowered.

I feel the same way. I’m not sure where I posted it before, but the hype around this season had me feeling like a kid at Christmas. 3 episodes in, that excitement vanished and now, 6 episodes deep, it feels more like a dead-end job where I’m just counting down the minutes until it’s over.

I’ve got no doubt the final 3 episodes will deliver, but the first 6 have just been too much of a slow burn for me, especially after the momentum of my trilogy edits from season 1.

I don’t know where these mixed reviews you’re seeing are. Andor has come back to near universal praise. This just confuses me.

There’s mixed reviews all over the fandom. “universal praise”? Are you just looking at Rotten Tomatoes or something? Seems to be a real Marmite season with not much middle ground. People are either really into it or they’re just bored and tuning out.

I imagine people reading your OP are quite confused by your claim of ‘mixed reviews’ or above ‘a real marmite season’ - given the near-universal praise the critics (and early reviewers for all 12 episodes) gave Season 2. The majority of fans online too it seems, since the shows has commenced airing.

A number of the ‘bored and tuning out’ people on reddit, youtube and twitter… seem to be people who didn’t watch Andor Season 1 - (or found it boring / ‘not Star Wars’ / no ‘lightsabers or Jedi’ / or issues with bricks and screws in Star Wars - and switched off etc) - seem to be repeating the same issues for Season 2 (without having actually watched it)?

I only found a small number of mixed / negative reviews online in my search for reviews (here and here) - though far far fewer than the number of positive reviews. Perhaps you could send me a PM for where you found your mixed or negative reviews? TIA.

Good luck with the edit. 👍

Thanks for the thoughtful reply. Just to clarify, when I mentioned “mixed reviews” or called it a “marmite season,” I was referring more to general fan reactions than critic reviews. I totally get that critics and early access reviewers have been overwhelmingly positive, but personally, I put more weight on everyday viewers—the ones who don’t have incentives tied to screeners or industry perks.

Across forums, YouTube comments, and social media (outside of the hype bubbles), I’ve seen a noticeable number of fans expressing burnout or just not engaging with Season 2 the way they did with Season 1. Some of them are long-time Star Wars fans, not just the usual “not my Star Wars” crowd. So, when I say “mixed,” I’m reflecting that wider, more grounded reaction—not the critic consensus.

That said, it’s great that the season is resonating so well with you and many others. Always good when a show finds its audience.

EDIT: There’s mixed reviews here https://www.metacritic.com/tv/andor/user-reviews/?season=season-2

Yeah, really the only place I have seen anything negative is in some of the fan-edit forums, here, fe.org and Reddit.

@moviesremastered in your initial post you say this will be the perfect quintology, I think you mean quadrilogy, since this will be four arcs into four movies.

Well spotted. Fixed 😃

A "FUCK the Empire" edit of Andor?
Time

Broom Kid said:

Me too!

But that is all Fiona Shaw! No AI. It’s part of her saying Fight from the overdub as aired, and part of her shouting “Jug!” from her early 90s reading of The Waste Land by T.S. Eliot, (Part 3: The Fire Sermon) - which sounds close enough in tone and timbre that when slowed down, pitched up, processed, reverbed a little; and delayed, and blended together; and then THAT is blended with the radio static and crowd noise, and then THAT is diffused and moved into the fronts and rears (and delayed a little even more) - it sounds like she’s shouting “fuck!”

Hopefully, convincingly. Maybe! In 5.1 surround! (but mostly in the center channel)

Nice work, dude.

Would “Feck the Empire” work better in that case? 😉 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36wKlbgeTrk

Star Wars: Andor (Season 2)(Continues Chapters IV to VII film series)
Time

You may have seen that Andor has returned to mixed reviews—but that just gives me the perfect opportunity to continue my movie series based on the earlier episodes.

Season one worked beautifully as a film trilogy, and with season two structured around three episodes spaced a year apart, it’s shaping up to be ideal for a new quadrilogy-style film edition.

After viewing the first 6 episodes, I gotta say I’m a little disappointed but it has a lot of potential. Here are my suggested changes so far…

Episode 1 - 3

• Delay use seeing Cassian til much later
• Cut down on how indestructible the new Tie is
• Cut down on how bad Cassian flies the Tie
• Edit down as much of the wedding as possible
• Cut out as much exposition dumps as I can
• Remove the “flirting” intro with Cassian and the girl (seems pointless)
• Remove all of Yavin 4 scenes and the bickering gang Cassian bumps into
• Edit together the Krennic meeting into one scene to build anticipation
• Remove some of Syril and Dedra build up to mother scene
• Remove some homestead scenes for pacing
• Rearrange a lot of scenes to lessen the back and forth
• Remove Bix saying the R word
• Add Onion layers to why Mon allowed her daughter to get married

While chapter IV movie instalment is finished, I’d like to see how the story unfolded before releasing anything to you guys.

Chapter IV coming in around 1h:51m:21s

Episode 4 - 6

• Cut out Bix temper changes. I know she’s suffering from PTSD but I feel she’s a little disjoined in a few scenes and it would be better to keep her just pretending to be happy instead of switching.
• Remove the lesbian subplot. It wasn’t needed in my trilogy and it doesn’t serve any purpose in this edit.
• Remove Mon hustling for votes.
• Remove any weirdly paced empire scenes.
• Trim down the underground community meeting.
• Reposition the Saw scenes for them to have more impact.
• Remove empire members getting carried away with drinking at the party scene.

Chapter V coming in around 2h:13m

Episode 7 - 9

• Add Wilhelm Scream
• Trim down people gathering in the square
• Cut joke between Cassian & Wilmon in U-wing
• Cut scene between Bix & Vel
• Cut scene on Cassian going upstairs and then back down
• Cut scene between Wilmon and girl
• Cut Wilmon “I’ve gotta find her” clique line

Chapter VI coming in around 2h:08m

Episode 10 - 12

• Near on perfect, just a few minor tweaks but what a finale!

Chapter VII coming in around 1h:58m

Any other suggestions welcome below…

Originally, I also wanted this to be the case after I heard it was supposedly the original plan.

But “FIGHT the Empire!” is so much more a call to action than “F*** the Empire!” and I wouldn’t want it any other way now.

I was of the same understanding when I released my Chapter III edit but having picked it up again recently, while editing Chapter IV I’m thinking of adding the line in. I’m so 50-50 on this one.

The Penguin | 4 Part Film Series |
Time

Title: The Penguin | 4 Part Film Series
Faneditor: Movies Remastered
1920x800p
h264 encoder
AC3 5.1 Surround Sound
Type: TV-to-Movie

SPOILER ALERT

SYNOPSIS: “The Penguin” is a gripping crime drama that chronicles Oswald “Oz” Cobb’s ruthless ascent within Gotham City’s criminal underworld following the events of “The Batman” (2022). Envisioning the series as a four-part film saga, each installment delves into pivotal phases of Oz’s transformation into the formidable Penguin.

Prologue: “The Falcon’s Shadow”
Long before the chaos that would shake Gotham to its core, Sofia Falcone was raised in the shadow of power. As Carmine Falcone’s only daughter, she was taught that strength, not mercy, ruled the city. When her father sent her away to protect the empire from his enemies, Sofia waited, learning patience. She was the rightful heir to Gotham’s underworld, but she knew that men like her father always underestimated women.
Then came the night her father was gunned down. She returned to Gotham not to grieve, but to reclaim what was hers. But she wasn’t the only one with ambition. Oswald “Oz” Cobblepot—once a glorified errand boy—had seized the opportunity to rise. He called himself “The Penguin,” but Sofia knew better. He was a scavenger, picking at the bones of a legacy that belonged to her.
As Gotham crumbled, the battle for its soul would begin.

Part One: “Emergence”
In the chaotic aftermath of Gotham’s seawall collapse and the assassination of crime lord Carmine Falcone, mid-level mobster Oz Cobb seizes a critical opportunity. Eliminating Falcone’s heir, Alberto, Oz asserts himself as a formidable player. He forges a strategic alliance with Sofia Falcone, Carmine’s volatile daughter, aiming to fill the power vacuum and dominate Gotham’s criminal enterprises. This partnership sets the stage for a treacherous journey marked by ambition and betrayal.

Part Two: “Consolidation”
As Oz and Sofia introduce a potent new drug, “Bliss,” to Gotham’s streets, they manipulate alliances with the Triads and other crime syndicates to expand their influence. Oz’s protégé, Victor “Vic” Aguilar, faces a moral crossroads between loyalty and the pursuit of a better life. The duo’s audacious moves draw the ire of rival factions, including the Maroni family, igniting a violent power struggle that tests Oz’s cunning and resilience.

Part Three: “Betrayal”
The fragile alliance between Oz and Sofia fractures as mutual distrust and personal vendettas come to the forefront. Sofia’s discovery of Oz’s involvement in her brother’s death propels her into a vengeful crusade. Meanwhile, Oz’s relationship with his ailing mother, Francis, deteriorates amidst escalating tensions. Betrayals abound as former allies turn into adversaries, culminating in a series of calculated moves that leave Gotham’s underworld in turmoil.

Part Four: “Dominion”
In a climactic confrontation, Oz outmaneuvers Sofia and the Maroni family, solidifying his dominance over Gotham’s criminal landscape. Utilizing the city’s abandoned underground railway, he establishes a new base of operations to control the distribution of Bliss. As Oz embraces his identity as “The Penguin,” he stands atop the underworld hierarchy, embodying the ruthless ambition that propelled his rise. Yet, his ascent comes at a profound personal cost, leaving him isolated in his newfound power.
This four-part cinematic journey offers a deep exploration of ambition, loyalty, and the corrupting influence of power within Gotham’s dark and treacherous world.

INTENTIONS: To craft a quintology that expands upon The Penguin series, presenting a chronological storyline that introduces Sofia Falcone from the very beginning. By weaving her journey alongside Oswald Cobblepot’s rise, this adaptation aims to provide a deeper, more empathetic understanding of her character. Rather than a mere antagonist, Sofia is portrayed as a rightful heir to Gotham’s criminal empire, shaped by a legacy of power, betrayal, and survival. This extended narrative will explore her motivations, struggles, and ambitions, ensuring that her role is not just a footnote in Penguin’s story—but an equally compelling force within Gotham’s underworld.
