Jedit: Looks like they’ve used the older version. I did remove the redness of Rey’s skin tone in the more recent one.

Skenera made a good LUT removing the overly orange warmth on Pasaana. It makes all the other colours pop so much more, but I’m not sure changing the actual sand colour would be easy or worth it. There’s already a lot of reds, greens & blues in this movie so it would have to be something else for it to be “distinct”

Just rotoscope it out with EbSynth. Not like that’s ever been tedious. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I’ve not used EbSynth yet but I am teaching myself after effects. It’s fun but it takes up a lot of time, so just wanted to make sure before doing the work.

As for Star Destroyers being destroyed, I think it technically may have been destroyed in the Holdo manoeuvre, but it’s not confirmed at all (had to deploy that ground assault from somewhere). His Destroyer from Rise doesn’t get destroyed until it’s someone else’s on Exegol.

I’ve just noticed that all the clips from Episode one are really grainy. Was this movie ever remastered? It really stands out next to other clips.

I’m trying to add one more Mustafar planet establishing shot with the 3 tie fighters but I don’t think anymore forest footage is needed unless we get a deleted scene of the giant and Oracle creatures.

I’m adding star destroyers to various planet scenes for Palpatines message. I’ve completed most of them but I’m not happy with the Coruscant part. I was thinking of removing Dooku’s solar sailor from him leaving Coruscant and panning to Kylos battleship but I couldn’t remember if it was destroyed at any point? I’m using the deleted Kylo bridge scene from TLJ and adding Coruscant planet in the windows.

That’s the exact way I see it for my edit. Just a subtle VFX change that people will barely notice. I just really hope Kewlfish can return at some point to finish his amazing crackling Saber work.

I’m looking for a 4 second clip involving Coruscant and Kylo but I can’t remember if his resurgent class battlecruiser was ever destroyed?

One day technology will be so advanced that we can build our own version of a movie that suits our various tastes but until then, there’s nothing stopping anyone from doing their own versions of this movie.

If you wanna revert back to the part of the original film then there’s nothing stopping you from doing it yourself.

Chapter 12 could open this show up in any direction. For me this was the best episode to date and I can’t wait to see what direction it goes in.

It would be a genius move if they find ways to stitch each trilogy together.

I just hope he and others that have vanished are ok. They’re been a lot of challenging things happening to people over these crazy times. I’m sure he’ll be in touch once things get slightly easier…

This project is finished as far as my skills can allow but I’ve done an update to scenes I’m needing help with on my original post.

If any can help please let me know. I’m confident that I can teach myself how to complete these scenes but if anyone can help I’d be able to release this cut much soon.

I honestly can’t give a time frame on this as I’m so behind on my own stuff but I’ll try to finish it asap…
