Corellia could be cool. I looked at adding a Star Destroyer to the dock scene in Solo. I looked through hours of travel videos and drone footage of Thailand to create Kashyyk but couldn’t find anything that would suit. If you know of any footage that would work I’d love to add that planet?

I’m trying to give Rey’s crackling Saber a different effect than Kylo’s. This may not be the best example but the core white is more his style but what are your thoughts on more outer blue crackle than core instability?
I’m still working on it but if anyone would like to work on the contrast of the alpha channel that would help?
Could you imagine what deleted scenes they have? Both Solo & TLJ were transformed/rescued with deleted scenes. TROS would be the same, imo.

I feel TLJ took the biggest risks but did the most damage in the process. I lived the fact they highlighted capitalism, slavery, a broken Luke and the final scene with Leia but it did miss the mark on many things. Daisy Ridley dialogue was awesome and they disrespected Ackbar. Unforgivable imo.

I’ve been working on the Mustafar, Coruscant and glitchy Saber scenes all day.
Mustafar release needs a custom tie fighter animation for the establishing shot. I’ve finished the clean footage and I have the model but can’t get the speed right. If anyone can help please let me know.
Coruscant is done but the planet shot is very blurry. I’ve messaged Poppa but if anyone has high res image please let me know.
Glitchy Saber is looking good but I’ll need some help with contrasting as I’m colourblind.
I’ve also been thinking of keeping Hans dice a reality in TLJ and having Ben look at them just before Han shows up on DSII. I’m thinking of reshooting the scene IRL as I couldn’t get the disappearing dice looking right before they disappear but what are your thoughts?

And what’s the dice idea? That he’ll look down at them in his hand using TLJ footage? I guess you’d have to not have them disappear earlier, you mean?

Yeah, Exactly. I’ve been working on a scene for my TLJ cut as I didn’t want the Dice to disappear and I recently came up with the idea of adding them to TROS so I’ve just purchased the Dice and looking for suitable gloves to shoot the scene myself. Thought it would be a nice touch to give Han showing up a little more detail.

I think the back shots are incredible. Maybe the lighting on the close up looks weird but to light a face in that was without natural shadowing must be a nightmare.

Does the lossless audio output work for you for that? It’s fully baked in and part of the mix. I can send the separate raw audio if you need it, though.

I’m keeping Leia alive until the end so I’m moving Poe and Finn coming back from the mission much later on. He’s wearing a gray shirt but I need to change it to an orange jumpsuit when he’s saying his final words to Leia. I’ve tried many different ways but his shirt colour is far too close to his skin tone plus being colourblind is a complete nightmare.

Balance of the Force was a 10 min featured for TLJ. There is a shot in there I need but the 1080p crop looks way too pixelated. I’m not sure if it’s on a 4k release anywhere?
