The goal for this chapter is to hide Din’s second face reveal (Easier said than done), tighten up the story, Make Boba more of an equal to Din and replace Disney’s awful Luke deepfake that really pulled me out of such an amazing season climax.

This Chapter was fairly easy compared to the others. No major story changes or issues with any of the episodes. We’ve mainly just fixed continuity errors, tightened up the dialogue, removed awful attempts at comedy and given Grogu more of an arc so he actually learns something in this movie.

This is the on-going Chronological cut of both The Book of Boba fett & The Mandalorian serie.

1. The main changes in this movie are the introduction of Cara Dune. the original series had a back and forth to this planet but we’ve given it a more linear timeline where it all happens in one appearence.

2. This whole re-edit removes any scenes where Din shows his face. This now gives the finale more weight and emotion.

3. Rearranging the village scenes to show a longer passing of time and give Din more of an emotional arch.

There’s been so many changes due to all the TV series that this is on hold until we know which direction they’re going in.

We’re now doing chronological edits for everything Star Wars and releasing them in order. Loads of info in the MR Discord, link in the footer.

Some of you may be familiar with the title of this movie but for those that aren’t, this was the name of the Vietnam movie mentioned in True Romance. It was never meant to be a real Quentin Tarantino film but after a great brainstorming session during the MR True Romance watch party, I thought I’d give it a go…

Ideas and Goal:

I aim to make a coherant movie using as many scenes from popular Vietnam films during the late 70s and 80s. Movies I have in mind are…

• Good Morning Vietnam
• Casualties of War
• The Deer Hunter
• Apocalypse Now
• Tropic Thunder

The intention is to create the most expensive War movie ever made, not only with Hollywoods biggest star studded line-up but also including some of the largest explosions and battle scenes caught on film during this era. Along with a killer soundtrack.

P.S. Yes, Coming Home in a Body Bag 2 was also mentioned in True Romance and if all goes well I aim to make this a trilogy based on story threads left open by this release. i.e. scenes from The Deer Hunter will lead in to the mental undoing of Robert De Niro as The Taxi Driver, and following Lt. Dan from Forrest Gump losing his legs in the war for Part 3, while Part 2 will be nothing but adrenaline filled action from stars like Stallone, Arnie and Chuck Norris.

Can you let me know what spelling mistake you’re referring to? Could it just be an English to American English spelling?

Also can you give me timestamps for the transition errors? Are you sure they’re not just deliberate J-Cuts and L-Cuts to help transitions?

Adding another 30 mins to this edit would take that away from Chapter II. I thought leaving it on a cliffhanger would make people want more, and it seems to be working 😉 I’ll release the next part once the Kenobi requests have settled.

Unpopular opinion but I couldn’t get through this series. It felt overly bloated and swayed way off track with subplots, to a point where it didn’t feel like a Cassian show at all. It was more like a Syril Karn eats Breakfast with his mother story which baffled me. This edit now focuses on Cassian’s story from the start, cuts out all the fluff and Syril almost completely, creating an incredibly emotional journey with our main protagonist. I may be biased but this is now some of my favorite Star Wars ever made, and that’s coming from someone who said they’d never bother with this series again. This is also now a linear movie trilogy instead of a series….

You can either watch this as the second part to The Book of Boba Fett series or 3rd part to the chronological cut following The Mandalorian: A Star Wars Story - Chapter I.

This version is a fairly simple edit within the series, which restores all the Boba flashbacks into one linear timeline and fixes some of the lighting issues within the night scenes.

This is a feature length cut of The Mandalorian - Chapter I. This edit continues on from The Book of Boba Fett - Chapter I, Chronological series and leads on to introducing The Mandalorian timeline as movie edits.

This version includes Episodes 1 - 5 for a 2 hour special. Most noticable changes are mergin Episode 4 and 5 to make Grogu more of a problem child and combining the Cara Dune intro and revisit into one to tighten up the story. See changelist link below for more info…

This has been my favorite TFA edit since its inception but recently I’ve been going through scene by scene to see why it works so well, and I’m incredibly impressed at the level of detail and passion that’s gone into this project. That final Starkiller scene gives the movie so much gravitas in comparison to the original.

…and the little details that aren’t listed in the change list, i.e. the subtle lipsync shots and the removal of a few background characters is amazing.

I can’t see how you can improve this edit but I can’t wait for this new version to drop…

I think you and I have followed the same path with Starwars, Crossvader. Only it was my best mate who had the VHS recording and we kept playing it until the tape broke.

I’ve had it on tv recordered VHS, offical VHS release, Special edition VHS release, Laserdisc release of a new hope, DVD and now Blu-Ray boxset.

Weirdly, it’s The War of the Stars that really gives me the original viewing feeling I remember as a kid.
