7, perhaps - because as you said, it might be an alternate TV version.

I already did, unfortunately. I felt like I was abusing other people’s resources badly enough with the OT (we’re talking about 60 GB of stuff which I had to stash on a friend’s server because I had no room on my own), but it at least had some utility, because of the fact that the OT movies have multiple Japanese dubs. With hardsubbed prequel rips, and they were unquestionably post-2012 masters, I was much more concerned that I’d be wearing out my welcome.
I could, I suppose, give it another shot, but again - hardsubs. One can’t make use of the audio for anything, and one can’t make use of the video for anything, so it’s about 70 GB of wasted space.
Oopsie! Looks like today’s prequels marathon is SUBTITLED. Reject?
(ETA: Confirmed. Yeah. It’s just the new Disney digital masters with subtitles, and they’re twice the height of the letterbox. I’m sorry, but I think not even the completists here will have a use for this, and while I can’t abort at this point, I don’t think I’m going to be uploading these. Sorry, guys.)
Oh geez, it’s the Scientrollogists again. 😕
Looks like we’re about to start in 15 minutes or so.
If I’m reading the control panel correctly, TPM will be capped on one tuner, then AotC and RotS will both be capped on the other tuner.
This is WOWOW Cinema, not WOWOW Prime, so it’s possible the bitrates etc. may be different.
Won’t be by me - I don’t have a usenet account with binaries 😦
I never got a confo mail but I was able to login, so…
I run mail from a private server and it has only limited spam protection, so if a mail is sent to me, the chance I’ll get it is about 99%.
I could theoretically post ESB and RotJ if anyone wanted but maybe it should be left in the hands of someone who’s actually known around the Spleen?
Anyway, I’ve got them tanked and far as I know they’re still uploaded elsewhere, so…
Maybe you can give it to nightstalkerpoet, he already uploaded SW on the Spleen and is willing to upload TESB and ROTJ.
Step ahead of you. I gave it to both him and -^…^- as soon as I had the capablity. 😉
Better that he post them, for consistency.

Fired a couple PMs off to those to whom I linked the previous links.
I tend to keep quiet because I know when I’m out of my element.
Obviously I have an interest in this, if only because it would bring closer to fruition what I attempted a decade or so ago, pre-GOUT, with my XP77 project.
It looks like it went off without a hitch, I haven’t been able to check the RotJ cap because it’s only 46% downloaded to my friend’s server but the other cap went off fine.
I dunno, so long as you know the context is Star Wars, “4K77” actually says a lot…
I’ve got slightly less than that and can play HEVC fine, for what it’s worth. (As in, I don’t even have a video card!)
ESB has been capped, I’ll see what I can do with it, probably similar to ANH.
RotJ caps tomorrow (same time as my Detective Conan but I think the system is dual-tuner, so doesn’t look like I’ll run into trouble).
All right, the prequel trilogy just showed up on the schedule. But on WOWOW Cinema, not on the main WOWOW Prime.
I’d like to make a slight emendation, since I also checked the TS. The audio is actually AAC 5.1. (It’s probably 2.0 during the commercials at the beginning at the end, though.)
PMs sent to ^…^ and nightstalkerpoet.
We’re almost certain it’s the 2011. 😦
The quality’s good though. We’re talking 18.5 GB of MPEG-2 for ANH.
We think this is the 2002 dubbing for Nittele, with Akira Ishida as Luke. (It does appear to have the 2004 M&E track, though - the Krayt scream was replaced.)
It says it’s 5.1.
The ANH master has a Fox bumper still.
The “A long time ago…” and rollup are painted into Japanese.
A delogo mask won’t be necessary; the station bug is in the letterbox.
Alright, I’m pulling ANH off the capbox.
スター・ウォーズ エピソード4/新たなる希望(吹替版).ts
filesize is 19.49 GB.
ANH is capping and should be done in 1h45. I may need somewhere to share the files from once I pull them off the capbox, any advice?
I’ve been periodically running a search on the capbox’s schedule. None of the airings so far are consecutive.
According to my information, there remain 13 hours until the broadcast I was able to program of ANH begins.
