Too small to tell. Univers, maybe?
No, the workprint was the one with the clocks on it.
There was an R5-LINE or something of Revenge of the Sith, wasn't there?
The release with Russian titles.

The guy is basically doing a one-man special edition--in fact he's arguably putting in even more work and care than the official SEs--so he can take as long as he likes as far as I'm concerned.
QFT.
Well, they're absolutely, 100% illegal - it's just that a lot of us either don't give, or consider there to be a pressing reason that we think is more important than silly things like copyright laws. :P
"When it's done."
Does such a thing exist?
More correctly, WERE they thinking?
Would that not indicate that the 2009 version is, in that one respect at least, an improvement?
Oh geez. Don't tell me we need a Beatles albums preservation thread.
Well, it's really gonna say something if the "best" they can do gets outclassed by a bunch of fans with film scanners and off-the-shelf hardware.
My understanding is, while it would be a dick move, they'd prolly be within their rights.
Don't forget the same digital destruction studio behind the 2004 remasters did a lot of the Disney "restorations" too.
Given that .torrents are considered direct links here, I'd say it's safe to say the same about .nzbs.
Wasn't Snow White scanned at 4K in 1993 or 1994?
Plastering.
Ugh.
The hope is people like mverta, Harmy and the -1 team...
(IMO anyway)
I'm going with mostly B and a little C.
Basically, wouldn't a lot of the knowledge that went into SW Legacy be possible to repurpose for restoring Team -1's 35s too?
I once tried to create a widescreen hybrid based on the RIC, but my head exploded.
Yeah, I'm in touch with the OP on occasion, as are my (bigger fan) friends.
I use (and have) only Avisynth, so his methods don't really work for me.
#include <stdio.h>
int main (int argc, char **argv)
{
top:
printf ("LOL TV'S FRINK ");
goto top;
}
I will say this:
I made a rough encode, 1280x544, from the Renegade BDISO, which I uploaded for a friend of mine. He was impressed (considering that I had done DVNR on it, to mitigate the flaws of the source). I went through and compared my quick and dirty encode to the GOUT and it was a significant improvement, although I had probably filtered it a little more aggressively than Lucasfilm did.
I don't mind grain, I mind THICK grain. Besides, it sucks up bitrate when encoding.
I usually don't try to remove it all, just reduce it to a saner level where it still looks like, well, film.
Thanks to the Internet, it's becoming harder and harder to make things truly disappear. xD
