Clone Troopers all sound like Jango/Boba because of PT clone accent logic.
Mando sounds nothing like this because he’s not a clone.
Boba still sounds exactly like Jango in S2 because it’s the same actor.
But since this is a Season 2 spoiler thread you should mark it up. Everything else you said makes it unclear if you saw the show since that would clear all of this up anyway.

The Empire would probably have a local leader that would order troops to shoot a crowd like that.

Maybe. The old Empire seemed to have no security on their systems when R2 just broke in.

They referenced Sorcerer and Office Space? Now this is a good episode. Character beats and pacing were on point, plus the chase had a few classic Lucasfilm style gags. Seems my prediction of where the good stuff was kept is panning out.

Probably a reference to the classic ROTJ mirrored Boba gaffe. Or the one from ESB they removed with CGI. I’m kidding, it’s probably just to fix the action geography of who is where.

The last five minutes includes creepy CGI Leia though.

They probably wont. Releasing a new series called Ewok Adventures is more in line with their model.

Ahh but there’s the real problem, and keeping all of the ESB twists intact would require far more creativity.

The way they’ve been revealed certainly implies a connection but it seems like a waste of so much lab research. The actual clone bodies must be something else. Maybe some kind of Reborn project.

Random question: the bounty hunter at the start of Chapter 5 has a name, but his ship doesn’t. Any ideas? It looks a bit like the Z95 but the shape isn’t right, and the scene seems to purposely obscure it.

Yeah but it’s less like the reaction to mass murder and more like a case of indigestion.

His entire class of pupils are murdered and he doesn’t really seem that shocked. He just heads over to Palpy for a few extra force power moves before quitting. He might has well have said “failed to do enough flips to beat him I have”.

This was a dumb episode. The boulder fall, the way Din kept walking into the energy wall instead of doing something logical like say Grogu’s name. Such a weird place to put a cliffhanger too. More fan service stuff doesn’t help. Even if I like the idea of the Dark Trooper project being used. Why is Boba Fett like a master fighter, is that just a reference to Morrison’s other movies?

Sure and he also nearly died in the siege from S1. But the scene where he just takes a bomb and dives head first into all the blaster fire was really dumb, and it drains the suspense from any quick draw duel scenes.

The first two episodes were nice and cozy for some reason. It was just nice to get back to these guys. The volcano lair was fun but left me wondering why those characters aren’t used more. The last two… are fine. But like everyone already said it’s getting bogged down in spin-off teasers that lead nowhere right now. I don’t care about these Clone Wars characters and devoting so much time to them doing flips etc. feels like a mistake. I also feel like the reveal of Beskar being blaster and sabre proof is a bad idea. Why ever take cover from the troopers? If they follow the S1 formula though the next one will be a filler episode, and the last two will be the good stuff.
