I think I do have that one somewhere, the ‘Complete Locations’ version.

Even if you really like the change from a character or story perspective (for some reason) I’d like to see someone argue that Greedo missing him at that range is a great addition.
It depends on whether you think these characters ever become more than simple narrative roadblocks. Luke’s personal arc aside the others are gone in TROS (Holdo for real and Rose being left for dead by the writers) which means they don’t get further development. A trilogy is a long format that has room to flesh out certain things, but many here have been left almost bare.
That sounds like a question for Techmoan.
Yeah I get the reasons for the way it looks but it’s still jarring nonetheless. I’ll give them a chance.
I was thinking about general SW gaming today, and realised that whole Republic Commando thing came and went. I think they got one blink and you’ll miss it appearance in TCW. Were they ever a thing anywhere else?
So… next question. Does this get any better after S1? Not really feeling this one and the visual downgrade after the last few CW episodes isn’t helping.
Yeah I guess but kinda weird when their target audience doesn’t remember it. Other than that, good conclusion overall. Based on the other potential loose threads from S6 though it’s strange that they chose The Bad Batch to continue with, that was the weaker part of the last few arcs.
Why does the finale use the old Lucasfilm logo when it’s been scrubbed from the franchise elsewhere?
George is the worst fan editor of all time.
How can I watch the series on my Pioneer Laseractive?
I don’t think I’ve ever seen this photo before

And yet a lot of the most emotive lines are delivered in the exact same way, and it’s generally the same kind of malice. I find it all pretty consistent even if his actions soften in ROTJ. For example ‘I find your lack of faith disturbing,’ and ‘if you won’t join me then perhaps she will.’
But even when he’s truly angry (he’s as clumsy as he is stupid) when he kills one of the top brass the voice is more cruel enjoyment not rage. Then later (Captain Needa) he’s really into it with added sarcasm.
Okay so forget creepy puppet Yoda, what about creepy XBox Yoda?

After all the acrimony I doubt they would, even if it was relevant to the show.
I’m not sure why anyone would argue that Darth Vader and Kylo Ren are the same character. Calm is calm. Even had his most murderous during ESB he doesn’t even raise his voice.
I doubt Disney has any interest in releasing a “non-canon” version of the trilogy alongside their current version.
Bingo. The last ‘real’ release was like 25 years ago. But now the new expanded material supports this version of events with NZ Boba and Macklunkey etc so it’s going to stay dead.
They would never admit fault and retcon anything, but Clone Wars sets a precedent for additional media that normalises and patches over mistakes for an existing trilogy over time.
Star Wars has had a precedent to retcon things since the moment Vader said “I am your father” way back in 1980.
Coming up with a single plot development in a sequel isn’t the same as a dozen prequel TV shows.

Whether people like them or not the current ST will be buried in about 5 years by other media. Probably to included new trilogies or even new stories set in that period. Probably stories that will include more interesting character struggles that might be smaller scale than Palpy’s Revenge but have more depth. It wouldn’t be hard. So dream on, there’s no end in sight and even the most grave errors made in TROS could one day just be another zero weight side story…
Plo Kloon is a breath of fresh air after spending time with so many Jedi characters that are in constant snark/sarcasm mode.
I finally saw the Umbara Arc, which was pretty good. That being said I was thinking it would go all the way with a Paths of Glory ending instead of what happens.
I want to watch that last one XD
Haha I remember that one.
Honestly I used to care less about any of the problems with SW as a whole. I could overlook the Special Edition changes and happily watch the prequels and all that other stuff. So in a way I can appreciate what people love about this stuff from endless force power battles to every minor character being integral to every tiny thing. But times have changed and you have to develop your critical skills sooner or later; that’s life.
