No problem. I think the carbonite music that Adywan restored is the only one I feel is worth putting back in, as I always found it to be jarring how the music just stops and then comes back.

Thanks. There is some slight trimming at the beginning and end of some shots need to be done in order for the timing to be just right, but it is doable.
I did try to replace Burning Homestead but just couldn’t make it work. It sounds like it would be easy, but the sync is off and I can’t replace the saber foley with the same specific sounds, which I’d want to do.

Why are you so fixated on Tobey Maguire?? I’m confused.
It’s because someone managed to recreate Sebastian Shaw from an image of Maguire, due to the two of them having the same, or at least similar, head shape.
You know, I think one of the reasons jonh has been gone for a while is that he’s busy with his career as a filmmaker.
One last thing about Sebastian Shaw, it is possible for someone to take footage of Tobey Maguire’s head from movies and go frame by frame to turn him into Shaw.
Also, is it still being worked on for the final shot to be an overhead shot of Tatooine in space as the Falcon makes the jump to lightspeed?
Hey, Hal? How would you feel about adding back in some unused music that John Williams had composed for certain scenes. Not just in this project, but some of your other Star Wars projects too. I thought Adywan did a nice job for a small portion when Han is lowered out of the carbonite, whereas in the original film, the music stops, gone for a moment, and then comes back again.
For me, it is because of the Voldemort backstory scenes. I love the way his history was told through the Pensieve flashbacks, the introduction of the Horcruxes, and the Astronomy Tower drama.
I know what you mean. I personally loved all the movies, but Half-Blood Prince was not my favorite of them. I don’t nitpick or criticize them at all, as I thought all eight of them were great, but I will admit I wish that they hadn’t omitted as much stuff as they did from the sixth film.

I’m really only using audio from the International Cut to restore the actors’ original voices. I’ll have to take a look again at the boy Non kills, but I will use the American voice if that’s the case. I would love it if someone could remaster or upscale the deleted scenes, though.

I forgot if jonh said he’d be interested in doing aversion with Sebastian Shaw or not. I wish he’d come back around soon. For all we know, he could finish the crackly saber sequences since he’s already done a far grander sequence in this project.

Oh yeah. I definitely using that to help, along with the Restored International Cut. I’m almost done with my edit of the first film, but I’ll need someone talented in VFX to help out to get the second film done.
They even re-dubbed the kid when he gets on the horse. I think the original voice was better but in my copy of the RIC there’s a weird “echo” to his voice.
That’s odd. I’ll look into it all. I plan on restoring the original voices to all the actors, apart from say Sarah Douglas, who I believe was dubbed by Annie Ross, who later played a character in Superman III.
I also think Terence Stamp’s voice was pitched a bit lower, but I’ll have to check. As long as the pitch of his voice sounds close to how he sounded at the beginning of the first film.
I’ve heard some say they thought Gene Hackman’s voice double had some better delivery to the lines, but I still feel it sounds phony to me.
