So based on the status, is it possible V2 could be ready around November or December?

I know you’re waiting on Dat_SW_Guy to do a mockup of the intro to Mos Eisley, but is it okay if I give it a try as a mockup possibly, Hal? I don’t know VFX, so I wouldn’t be able to remove most of the womp rats like Adywan did.
Is the “Captain Hux” ranking still being kept in with Faraday’s efforts ending?
Also, I meant to have this out weeks ago, but here is a sample pitch as to how we could try getting the line, “You’re just a clone” into the film.
Is that the same line SpeakingOfAi sent? Cuz it’s even rougher than I remember.
Yes, it is.
Here is a sample pitch of how the line, “You’re just a clone” can be added into the film.

How did you do on the scene where Harry lashes out in Dumbledore’s office, dude? 😃
Not much. Just more calm music, because I think Harry’s anger should play out for itself from Dumbledore’s eyes.
I just finished GoF, and dear lord, the music in the background of Dumbledore’s speech about Cedric in the end made the entire scene so much more emotional!! Actually, the entire final chapter really gained a lot from your edition, really, amazing work!
I’ll start Order of the Phoenix right away - which I haven’t reread in a gooood while, and was my least favorite of all, so I’m super curious to have this new experience and see if maybe I’ll enjoy it more now 😃
Thanks very much for those kind words. I’m not going to lie, when I was working on Priori Incantatem, I actually was tearing up when the spirits came out with Patrick Doyle’s music supporting the scene. Even adding in Jeremy Soule’s work from the game as Harry ran to the portkey was emotional for me to listen while I worked on it.
It’s my least favorite of the seven, but still enjoyed it, nonetheless.
Hey dude I was just wondering maybe after you’re done making the Harry Potter audiobooks, You think maybe you’d might be able to make some Stephen King audiobooks with sound effects like this? Maybe you can do IT narrated by Steven Weber. It’s up to you.
I don’t know. I’ve thought about trying out some other audiobooks, but I doubt that I’ll tackle projects this big for quite a while. One of the big reasons why I chose Harry Potter specifically is because someone on Reddit recommended the idea to do this, I loved both Stephen Fry and even Jim Dale’s narration in the audiobooks, and I’ve always been a big fan of Harry Potter.
Ok
I did at one point think about doing a small one for The Polar Express if Tom Hanks did one. But there already is one with ambience, sound effects and music that predates Robert Zemeckis’ movie with Liam Neeson as the reader.

I do have one big question. Why does Miss Teschmacher break Lex out of prison when (at least in the extended version) he tried to sacrifice her to their animals before Superman saved her. You’d think they’d be through by the events of the second film.
Perhaps because she’s hopelessly in love with him? Crazy girl. Lex, also tried to murder her mother (indirectly) - she lived in the same area the missiles would explode.
A bigger mystery is why the character vanishes from the film? Was there a reason, I’ve forgotten?
I think her last scene was using the ‘conveniences’ - a deleted moment, in the Fortress of Solitude?
I’m glad that buffoon, Otis, was cut loose from the film - but also sorry he didn’t hang around and have some scenes with the three super villains. I wonder what Ursa & Non would’ve made of him?
Viewing the R.I.C. there’s an extended scene with the police deputy, surreptitiously trying to move round the police car, and bumping into Ursa, later on, he’s seen hobbling out of the police car in town - he looks like he’s holding back (barely) a dump.
You think Ursa may’ve done something to him, offscreen?
I suppose you’re right.
I do also agree with you on where Teschmacher went, however, I think I know. One of the deleted scenes (which I’m not adding back in) takes place at the end of the movie where she breaks Lex out of prison in a car and leaves Otis behind again.
I’ve finished listening to Philosopher’s Stone and am halfway through Chamber of Secrets. This is absolutely amazing! I can’t imagine rereading (listening) the series any other way! You did a great job setting up the mood of each scene and adding various sound effects.
Highlights of PS were the Mirror of Erised and the Man with Two Faces.
So glad to hear you’ve started HBP! Thanks for taking on this massive endeavor and sharing it with all of us!
Well I’m really glad to hear that, Padmé.
I have now started work on Half-Blood Prince!
Oooo have fun! I love Hooper’s score on that one. Can’t wait to hear what you do.
Thanks!

Well, you got me there.
It’s fun trying to identify the changes in the three Kryptonian criminals’ appearance. In some of the additional R.I.C. shots, General Zod’s hair colour changes from greying to slick black. Sarah Douglas’s wig is another.
Honestly, Margot Kidder’s appearance stands out the most between both versions. Her different makeup and hairstyles make her look almost unrecognizable in Lester’s material. Marc McClure’s hair also looked different from both directors as well.
I think (and don’t quote me on this because I don’t even remember where I read this probably between 12-15 years ago) Sarah Douglass said in an interview that during one shoot her costume had her in high heels, but in another shoot, her shoes were wedges. I can’t remember which though.
High heels are sexier.
To be fair now, how is she going to attack Superman and the people in those?

I’m starting work on Superman II now. I’m still looking for anyone who can help out in doing VFX for this project still.

Interesting.
The best place to start would be isolating the trailer dialog of Palpatine: “And now your coming together is your undoing.”
If anyone here wants to now how to do that, try using Acapella Extractor. It’s free online.
Another question I forgot to ask. Are Anakin and Leia’s sabers still going to spark and short out right before Rey drops them and dies?
I have now started work on Half-Blood Prince!
Good luck ❤️ I look forward to the release!
Thanks very much!

I think generally when they decide to leave out score in the final mix, I agree with them. But thank you for compiling these!
No problem. I think the carbonite music that Adywan restored is the only one I feel is worth putting back in, as I always found it to be jarring how the music just stops and then comes back.
Works pretty well, though!
Thanks. There is some slight trimming at the beginning and end of some shots need to be done in order for the timing to be just right, but it is doable.
I did try to replace Burning Homestead but just couldn’t make it work. It sounds like it would be easy, but the sync is off and I can’t replace the saber foley with the same specific sounds, which I’d want to do.
It’s okay. I made an attempt at it a while back ago.

I don’t think I’d use most of those, to be honest. Although, the lossless audio output makes it possible for the intrepid person to edit anything into them.
But, I’ll go over that list later on and at least consider them, especially those that patch up gaps in the film’s score.
Okay. Thanks, Hal.
