I know people like that and none of them care about life at all and their lives are a byproduct of this thought process. Perhaps I’m leaping in this case but in 9/10 cases like this I would be right. I can live with that.

I should have made it clear that I was speaking about the Force Awakens and not the sequel trilogy as a whole (my bad). But yah, episode 8 seems to be really upping the game on the designs! I’m pretty thrilled to see what Rian has in store for us 😃

TLJ seems to be doing this in many regards from what I’ve been reading and Rian’s influence has even touched TFA as he is the reason R2 went to Ahch-To with Rey intead of BB-8 like JJ origianlly wanted. That right there speaks volumes in my opinion.

I wasn’t very invested in Han’s jealousy even for the simple fact that it doesn’t really go anywhere. Also it just seems weird that the guy who could keep his composure while watching the woman he loved kiss another man is now throwing accusations at her for no reason when she confessed her love (again) for him earlier in the film. Even though having Luke and Leia be related is a cheap way to end the love triangle, it does raise the emotional stakes a little for the Vader v Luke conflict.

Was any of this as big an emotional arc as Luke’s? No. But, then, Luke is the PROTAGONIST.

Luke being the main protagonist didn’t stop Leia and Han from having a significant emotional impact in Empire…

The proposed Alien 5 would have wiped out Alien 3 and Resurrection, so I’m glad it didn’t happen.

To each their own but my level of admiration and respect the original two films makes that a fantastic idea to me. I’m not necessarily saying that you don’t respect them but I feel as though Alien 3 and Resurrection disrespects the first two to an absurd degree.

Hearing the synopsis for the Alien Covenant Prequel Novel is among the most disappointing things I have ever experienced. After today I am definitively sure that Fox could give a shit about answering the big questions posed in Prometheus. I wonder how often these people doubt their positions. If I had to guess it would be times where they fought their own gut reactions while watching the PT.

I’m looking forward to all the “You’re not a real fan unless you see/like this movie” comments I’m going to get thrown at me.

Never in my life will I question perfection. The human race is littered with mediocrity both in terms of flesh and mind so when someone who has near structural perfection pops up it has to be revered. It’s like marveling at a unique building which has curves of the building, angles, curb, sidewalk etc. all be on grade and crafted to be as designed by the architects and engineers.

Now if she has gotten some work done then that changes things…

A worthy purchase for the bonus features alone.

Deaf for sure as being blind is so much more debilitating in terms of just getting around and even something like reading requires learning to read brail. Also I would be constantly worried about bumping into stuff.
