TV's Frink's Star Wars Fanedit Upload Request Thread In Which You Can Request That I Upload A Star Wars Fanedit And I Will Respond Yay Or Nay (CHECK FIRST POST BEFORE MAKING REQUESTS)
Time

Its L8's Episode III edit.

Understandable, but could you upload it somewhere in which Jdownloader can download it? Also I have discovered the link on fanedit.org for the AVCHD version is incomplete as well as not downloading properly.

Star Wars Episode III: Labyrinth Of Evil (Released)
Time

I loved the hell out of this fan edit. Every cut was invisible and you hit every important scenes on the head especially for the Mace vs Palpatine duel. I also liked that you kept the "I hate you!" in "The Immolation Scene" because I feel that was what brings Anakin's turn full swing. Now with Q2's other two PT Fanedits I have a fully watchable PT. Thank you for your hard work.

I see your point except for removing Anakin's sith eyes in ROTS. His deeds in ROTS were truly evil.....I mean he slaughtered children.....Ady should keep them from Anakin seeing as the fact that he slaughtered a room full of children.

People slaughter children everyday and nobody's eyes tun yellow. It's a lame device.

I think the concept of evil deeds not only poisoning your body, but your soul to be compelling. Also I don't watch Star Wars for realism.

I'm not into the EU so I might be wrong, but it seems like Dooku became a Sith Lord simply for the power. He doesn't do anything truly evil in AOTC and ROTS. Also it seems like the Sith eyes disappear depending on your level of hatred/evil at the moment. In ROTJ after Anakin destroys the Palpatine and his mask is removed his eyes are normal so by this logic it is entirely possible for Dooku to have normal eyes in the scenes that he is in. Also Palpatine all through the prequels up until he tries to electrocute Windu had normal eyes as well.

It was the PT that introduced the whole 'Sith Eyes' thing. It was never a thing during the OT (except arguably a bit with Palpatine who represents the epitome of pure evil). Why did we have to have this visual indicator that a character is evil all of sudden? Might it have had something to do with George's inability to write a convincing character? Rather than make Darth Maul evil via his actions or dialogue, he made him seem evil in the most superficial way - his appearance. Evil eyes, devilish make up. Job done, apparently.

I find the whole concept of the evil eyes when you turn evil quite cheap, except, as stated, when it comes to the Emperor (whose eyes were more subtle anyway). He just exudes pure evil and doesn't seem to represent the "norm" at all. When I first saw ROTJ, I saw a man who'd pushed the Dark Side to its absolute limits. He was an aberration; more evil and despicable than any Dark Jedi had been before him, and this exposure had taken its toll on his body. Having every Sith in the prequels have these same traits cheapens the story his appearance tells. He becomes just another bad guy.

Though, the force lightning rebound completely ruined all that anyway.

Good point, but what about continuity? I mean I'm sure Palpatine didn't kill a room full of children not only once, but twice like Vader did.

ROTJ is the best Star Wars film... discuss!

The last Crusade is my favourite Indiana Jones film as well. It is hard for me to imagine how can anyone say it is much worse than the first. But then again I fail to understand how can anyone regard ROTJ as much worse than SW and ESB.

The Ewoks ruined the pacing of the film. Also because of the Ewoks, The Battle of Endor was anti climatic and a bit silly. If it weren't for that....ROTJ would have been the best.

Yeah, no one's going to like that idea round these parts. Especially not adywan who I believe has already said he won't do it (though I might be making this up - either way he won't be doing it I'm sure).

Hey! Logical person! We don't take kindly to people who use logic round here!

I don't personally think it's such an awful idea, I'm just saying it's been brought up before here and most people do think it's an awful idea.

When you think about it, it's not even logical in terms of the PT. I think the best way I can prove this is remember when Anakin lobs off Windu's arm? His eyes weren't yellow. So I don't see why Luke's would be in a similar situation. Also important to note that nowhere in the films are Dooku's eyes yellow, and Anakin only has yellow eyes in a couple of scenes though his evil acts surely outnumber that.

So really when you think about it yellow eyes make no sense in the PT and Ady will likely fix this by removing them (though probably not from Maul or Palps if I were to guess) rather than adding then adding them to the OT.

I see your point except for removing Anakin's sith eyes in ROTS. His deeds in ROTS were truly evil.....I mean he slaughtered children.....Ady should keep them from Anakin seeing as the fact that he slaughtered a room full of children. It's only logical if you accept the PT as canon for Revisited.

If Ady is fixing the continuity errors made by the PT then hell yes I'm logical, but that goes without saying. Speaking of....Has he said anything about what he's going to do about the clone troopers?

STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW
Time

I just noticed another error. After Luke tried to lift the X-Wing out of the swamp on Degobah there is a shot of him with disappointment in his eyes and he's breathing a little more than usual. In the very next shot he goes to sit next to Yoda and he's breathing rather heavily like he just ran a triathlon. Can this please be fixed?

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this before, but in the Battle of Hoth 2 people fall down for no apparent reason. Also one rebel is shot by an AT-AT, but you can barely see it. Has Adywan said anything about fixing these errors?

Also I see on the Star Wars Revisited page's cover photo on facebook that ESB:R will be released near the end of 2013. I really hope so because my dad is 42 and hasn't seen the OT (I know >_>) and I want him to have the definitive Star Wars experience, but I've been keeping him waiting ever since April when ESB:R was set to release in May and I think he's growing rather impatient.

Help Wanted: Can someone make an Opening Crawl for me?
Time

valinkrai said:

So I was bored and put it together, with minor edits to the crawl text to make it fit within my template. No motion blur on the render save for the logo zoom in, since I didn't want to lose an entire day on my computer, though if you have After Effects, I can send you the folder to render yourself with motion blur, but here's a link. It's rendered at 30fps, 16:9 1080p, with the assumption this is for YouTube and and won't be shot in 2.35. It has a pan down to a stylized Earth, so if you're shooting on Mars or something, you're shit out of luck. If you want, I can re-render it at full 4k resolution un-cropped or something though. If you ever to future videos in this series, I'd be happy to make another, though I suggest mimicking the writing of an existing crawl, particularly A New Hope upon which my template is based in terms of key framing (It messes with the exit of the crawl if you go longer) in terms of character/word count per paragraph and capitalization. I didn't do this when I wrote mine, and looking back, it bothers me looking at the actual crawls with 4 words per line, and then my version with 6-8 words. It's kinda crazy how the crawl spend an entire minute on maybe 3 or 4 short sentences.

Wow thank you very much. You've made a young mans dream come true *sheds manly tear*. I'll watch it and see if it close to the opening crawls in the actual Star Wars movies then I'll get back to you. Again, thank you. :)

Help Wanted: Can someone make an Opening Crawl for me?
Time

I made a slap bet with my friend Cory over a comment that he made and I won the bet. Now I can slap him 3.5 times until New Years Eve and to make things worse for him I’m going to add psychological warfare and scare tactics to make his experience much worse (yes I’m evil). I am going to record all of the slaps on video and post them on youtube and and I’m going to be appropriately naming the videos “The Slap Wars Trilogy”. Can someone here make an opening crawl using the text I am about to post below for me? It would be much appreciated.

Slap Wars Episode I: The Slapping Menace

The war of slaps has begun! Cory Wilson in an act of utter idiocy has lost aslap bet to Anakin and from now til eternity Anakin can Cory 3.5 times when ever he likes, this is truly a dark day for Cory.

Little does Cory know that on November 28th better known as Slapsgiving he will be getting slapped. The black on his face will surely be getting slapped off.

Terrified by this fact, Cory will try to hide as a roach does, but Anakin’s hand will not rest until the slap is dealt. And when this slap is dealt it will spell certain doom for Cory’s face…

The 2nd "Nooo" Luke says when Vader tells him that he is his son should be removed. The 1st "NOOOOO" was perfect, but the 2nd one sounds really awkward and every time I watch this scene it just pulls me right out of it. Tell me I'm not alone in this thought...

Did you just suggest changing the dialogue in the most perfect, the most famous, the most iconic and the most celebrated scene in the history of cinema???

Lord Haseo are you George Lucas in disguise trolling this revisted thread? ;-)

It's not perfect. Watch the scene and watch it in its entirety. Then re watch it and after Luke says his first "No" pause it and skip to 1:34. You'll see what I mean.

Naturally I already did rewatch it before commenting on your suggestion and I still say it lacks the emotion of Luke's full howl of anguish. However it seems you've got your wish anyway...

^ Click image to watch this newly leaked video clip from Disney©. Might need to watch it a couple of times to see the changes.

You should listen to the 2nd "No" once more. It's so awkward. Its emotional, but its too emotional. I feel the 1st "No" was believable while the 2nd one wasn't.

We have all seen the films so there is not any surprise left unless it is an edit you don't see coming....

For me the OT is the main part of it for revisited.... Apart from filming a new set of PT movies it is a wreck.....

A prequel story would suffice 1 movie done well in the style of the OT

The surprises being left in are for people who are new to the franchise. I know.....the idea that anyone hasn't seen Star Wars is asinine...I know >_>

Has anyone else noticed that Adywan taking out the Darth Vader scenes in ROTS doesn't keep the "No, I am your father" reveal a secret until ESB? I've read on facebook that the last we see of Anakin in ROTS is when he's on that medical stretcher thing on Coruscant after he was beaten by Obi-Wan. We can obviously assume that he survived without being shown how he exactly got put into the suit. Plus, before Vader and Obi-Wan duel Vader says " I've been waiting for you, Obi-Wan. We meet again, at last. The circle is now complete. When I left you, I was but the learner; now I am the master." Anyone with half a brain can come to the conclusion that Vader is Anakin. Also, when Aunt Beru says "He has too much of his father in him." and Uncle Owen responds "That's what I'm afraid of." you don't think anyone is going to come to the obvious conclusion that Vader is Luke's father after Obi-Wan and Vader's conversation if they are watching this in order?

Where on facebook did you read that, because i'm pretty sure i haven't said that at all because that was never in my plans.

False.
