Well you obviously do.
I don’t care about the negative opinions about TFA; the reasons are what irk me. But thats not even the point of this conversation.
“TFA supposedly being a rehash = The OUT won’t be released” is a nonsensical statement.

I really don’t understand your incessant need to go around every thread on the forum and take umbrage with every single post that criticizes TFA directly or indirectly. Other people will have different opinions than you, so you should probably accept that and move on with life. There is a thread specifically for criticizing/supporting TFA. I think you will save yourself a lot of grief and gray hairs if you limit your policing to that thread.

Seems like a really faneditey thing.
That documentary while too short gave me a new appreciation of a movie I’m already very fond of. A lot of people act as if the ST’s existence is just for money and that none of the people involved cares about Star Wars and telling great stories but this documentary proves other wise. You can feel the enthusiasm and thw ambition of all those who worked on this film.
The only thing about this edit that is remotely “good” is the renaming.
Well seeing as how the Falcon was able to not be captured by the Star Destroyers everything he said was true to some extent. From my point of view Han was just laying facts in a confident manor.
It’s part of the Falcon’s legend. (And Han was always a bit of a B.S. artist.) That it’s inaccurate is beside the point.
But it feels like their just crapping on the original scene, and what it meant. I don’t think it should be part of the Falcons ‘legend’. Everything Han said in that scene was just talking up his ship to make it seem worth the price he would demand to fly them. Everything he said there should’ve been crap he pulled of the top of his head to fast talk this old man and this kid that needed a ship.
That’s an interesting perspective but that being a bunch of BS just to rake in some cash is just your inference.

I think we can all agree on that one. It was definitely the most shoehorned in reference to STAR WARS.
Rey seems to idolize the Rebels. She pretends to be an X Wing pilot, (donning an old OT era helmet) and has a crude doll of a pilot. She clearly knows something of galactic history. Not to mention the wreckage of a major battle is all around her. There has to be a databank or two she’s found as a scavenger.
Even Luke living on a poodoo hole like Tatooine knew about the Clone Wars.
And Rey knows about Luke but think he’s a myth. The accounts of the Rebellion she has heard are inconsistent to say the least.

Those were one of the jokes I kind of like but is something I think they went a bit too far with.
The rest of the jokes were so terrible they were cringeworthy - not nearly as bad as the slapstick Jar Jar Binks humor in The Force Awakens, but cringeworthy nonetheless. The humor in any other Star Wars movie was way better.
