Gonna go with the 1967 Spider-man as the definitive on-screen portrayal.

If anything it’s an insult to Jar Jar
From what I’ve seen of Mr. Bean he’s like Jar Jar in human flesh. If that assumption is right then you should see why someone would have fault with that.
Just like there’s no thread to talk about the Super Hero TV shows…or any TV show for that matter…at least I think there’s not
There can only be ONE!
Seriously though, it’s all about the Bats you grew up with. 😃
I kind of grew up with Bale’s Batman but based on the leaked clips I’ve seen on Facebook Affleck’s Batman will probably be my favorite film version.
In general though the Arkham Batman is my favorite. Closest to the comics and in 3/4 games he’s voiced by Kevin Conroy. It’s pretty hard to beat that combination 😄

Funny, I seem to remember the comics containing multiple versions of the various characters.
That’s out of necessity due to how old the franchise is. The Arkham Batman is what Batman has been for at least a couple of decades.
The Burton films are my true Batman.
If that’s how you feel lol
I would imagine it be tricky to get the effect exactly the same as when the hologram flashes in TFA.
How? lol
It’s pretty much copy+pasted from the comics. As is the Joker in those games and pretty much everyone else.
You’re telling me that you don’t care for this?
I was talking about the entire score in general but the theme is nice but nothing extraordinary
IMO Elfman’s music for the Burtman films is literally the embodiment of Batman’s character in music form.
It’s the embodiment of that Batman’s character in music form. But Burton’s Batman isn’t the true Batman like the one in the Arkham Games. And no Bale isn’t a totally faithful incarnation of Batman either.
double post
Liked his score for the Spiderman films but Burton’s one didn’t quite catch me. Hell, the melody that plays at the end of Aggressive Expansion is better than any piece of music Elfman has ever put out in my opinion.
EDIT:
Also the part before that melody is kind of beautiful.
Better than Elfman for the most part…
I would say some of Han Zimmer’s work in the Nolan Batman Trilogy is fantastic.
Dittohead - Slayer
EDIT:
The Winds of Mayhem - Bathory
Graves of The Archangels - Dead Congregation
Demon’s Gate - Candlemass
I’m incredulous to the fact that so many people could be wrong as to the quality of the movie but I’ll reserve judgement until I finally see it.
Speaking of TFA special effects does anyone know if the whole making Snoke completely a hologram thing has been done yet?
To be frank I’m not a fan of your avatar…
EDIT:
Your signature is not cute either
Not fan of the Zim Zam I guess?
I’m not necessarily a fan of any murderer. Much less a racist one.

When he chops off Dooku’s head without hesitation?
He did say it wasn’t the Jedi way. Or was that afterward?
I too used to think and act along those lines. Truthfully I feel a little bad for him because if he doesn’t change he’s probably going to end up being completely alone.
Hopefully he doesn’t act this way in person.
He probably tones it down when interacting with people face to face because if he went full blown then no one would want to be around him. Even other pompous and cynical assholes would get tired of his shit quickly.
I think a location having a prequel like vibe isn’t a bad idea so long as it’s an actual set.

Anyone else here a Sonic the Hedgehog fan? Just curious.
Classic or modern?
Classic.
At what time do you consider “classic” Sonic games came to an end? Some say with the Genesis games, some say Sonic CD and others say Sonic Adventure or Adventure 2.
Personally I’d say Sonic Adventure 2 was the last classic Sonic game and the last one that wasn’t meh at best.
