Have you met or seen someone from the Star Wars universe, and props?
Time

I saw cast & crew of SW in Celebration Europe, got a few autographs, didn't talk to them though. Hamill, Fisher, McDiarmid and Daniels were there to name a few. I've seen a lot of props, too, we had the Art of SW show here and I went to see it. It was in 2001 I think, so it was full of TPM stuff of course, but there were many many OT models, like The Executor, Vader's suit etc. Pretty cool.

Star Wars: Episode VII to be directed by J.J. Abrams **NON SPOILER THREAD**
Time

Not thrilled about the news. Could be okay, or not. Didn't like Star Trek that much, although I'm not a ST fan (but I do enjoy TNG, which started its first rerun here, and that was a surprise for me, too). I just hope we don't need sunglasses to watch this movie, too. These should be story driven, not by effects. Star Trek was just too much in this area.

Various sites are reporting that Drew Struzan has been approached to design posters for the new Star Wars movie(s).

I'm so not excited about this. For the past couple of decades his work has almost entirely comprised of floating heads and lens flares.

Meh.

Partially agree but they still beat lazy PhotoShop jobs.

Puggo Strikes Back! (Released)
Time

I've had a vision for the covers for months, I'm going to make them to look somewhat similar in theme so they fit together, not just making one cover as cool as possible. So I myself already know what to use. :) I just hate doing all the credits and copyright texts since every movie is a little different in terms of those. Ugh.

Is there any original covers for the 16mm films? Were TESB and ROTJ CBS/FOX release with these, too, or..? Any help would be appreciated to inspire me, LOL.

Dear Americans, what do you think about the good old Europe? Where would you like to visit here and why? Do many Americans want to travel here or rather somewhere else?

I've always wanted to visit USA and it would be cool to live there, too. Haven't had the chance yet but when I do, that will be the first one on my list to visit there. But there are also a few negatives living there, like you have to do your own taxes, LOL. Is that hard? What else do you think is "bad" about your country and you wish that things were like in country X? For example education is free here including university, which is one thing I'd miss in the States.

Those stills are beautiful! Thanks for the link!

The screenshots from the BDs? Okay...

A little weird article. There are much more women in the films, you don't need to dig the cutting floor. Beru, Tonnika sisters, Hoth rebels (at least three), Cloud City personnel, Oola... Sure there could and probably should be more but still. I agree with the comment: "I'll go with "who cares?" for a thousand, Alex."

Sorry, but you're wrong here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9wtgffwPK9s

some people still remember the Muppets being broadcast on italian national television.

and here they are with some stuff shot for the movie, with italian singer Elio (EelST)

Well, I wasn't being 100% serious. It usually just seems to be thought that everyone has watched the Muppets. Actually, Sesame Street was being shown here for a very short while (I got a glimpse of it, horrible) but it was pretty quickly taken off the air, maybe in less than a year.

Dear Sweden,

What is your understanding of the chef from The Muppets?

I'm not Swedish but I was talking in Finnish with my friend on an online game and then some idiot started doing what I believe was the Muppet impersonation. I only now it because of Conan O'Brien, he does that sometimes.

The Muppets are a US thing, nobody else watches it.

Since when did ROTJ become less highly regarded than even Episodes II or III?
Time

As a kid ROTJ was probably my favorite from the trilogy. As I grew up TESB became my favorite and now it's pretty close with SW and TESB. As someone has said, SW is the best movie and TESB is the best Star Wars movie.

But it has been tough to watch ROTJ anymore, it seems that every viewing is more and more difficult. I never rewind my movies but I'd really liked to when the Ewok stuff is beginning to happen, ugh. But no, it's not worse than the PT which I don't watch at all anymore.

Also being here on the forums has probably affected me a little unknowingly. Maybe around 2005 or so I didn't have a problem with Leia being Luke's sister for example, she was and that was that, never gave it that much of a thought. But now when thinking alternatives and seeing what you guys always think I do agree a lot. Also there are other points which give it a lazy and easy finish.
