Awesome Star Wars art (pic heavy!!)

Sorry but that isn’t art and not sure if anyone would think the image before was awesome, either. You can find mediocre slave Leia images all around the web.

Nah, the original pic is cool. You can see neat details like the taxidermy-ed heads on Jabbas chair.

His Vision Returns is a great piece though but I’m pretty sure it has been posted before.

Nah, it’s stupid. Why is she still wearing that? Why is Han looking at the roof? The artist is talented, but that image is stupid from concept to completion. …which I’m sure it’s helped many geeks to achieve.

These are just my opinions, of course.
But I’m right.

Nah, no.

“And under” makes it a potentially better deal because it includes some that are lower than $9.99.

I thought it was obvious how I said it and that I didn’t have to type the whole thing out, sorry I was wrong.

Also, thanks for the irrelevant and nonsensical shot at my country.

You think your posts are so obvious but then you’re commenting on every spelling mistake others make because you don’t understand like a cyber bully you are. You should use your obvious thinking in that when I asked if under 10 bucks makes a good deal or not in the US. There was talk that people can’t afford BDs then you can make an assumption that BDs are expensive. Probably over 90% of BDs here are under 10€ which is like 10,50 USD and again, probably over 90% of those aren’t “good deals”. I just bought two days ago Lethal Weapon collection for less than 8€ new and that’s 4 movies. That’s an okay deal I’d say. There even was a five-movie Seagal collection for 3€.

Sorry if these obvious things need to be spelled out to you even though no-one was speaking to you in the first place as usual. Also, LOL about “my contry”. Well, my country is expensive as f*, how about that?

On an unrelated sidenote, I hope the ignore function will soon be back so we can all ignore the worst things this forum, and the Internet in general, got. I’d rather read YouTube comments than some of these posts. So how about back to R1.

Yes. Some of the things you could find in that bin could be a deal for you because they could be significantly less than the $9.99 you seem to think you would only find.

Or if you prefer, my point is that you don’t understand what you’re saying.

You are confusing “all good deals are under 10 bucks” (which is correct to the point that there are movies I wouldn’t want even to use as coasters) to “everything that is under 10 bucks is a good deal” which to me isn’t like I said but that’s just my opinion hence the question. I did not state that I think I would only find things for 9,99 but you did state that if it’s less than 10 it automatically makes a good deal and I think 9,99 is less than 10. But I guess less than 10 makes it a good deal in the US then.

“And under” makes it a good deal, yes.

9,99 for some old catalog titles isn’t a good deal for me. Anyways, back on R1.

I’ll buy R1 on rental BD when they’re through with it. Scored my TFA that way and paid only 6€ and it was like new. Now I just bought the collector’s edition for less than 15€ to get some extras. Seems to be a good plan in the future.

My local Target has a bargain aisle with older Blu Ray titles ten bucks and under these days.

Is that a good deal in the US? You can get BDs less than 5€ here and movies like Bond you can get 3 for 10€ etc. and newer titles go for 9,90€ or less after 6 to 12 months from the release. For example you can get a 3D BD of Batman v. Superman for about 6-7€ now. I haven’t boought a DVD for almost 10 years now.

Nah, the only decent one on this page was:

I hate ROTS Chewie.

Yeah. I mean, I don’t take it “as is”, that she’s made of lava or something, just as piece of artwork it has nice colors and likeness etc.

I do too.

I’m waiting for more R1 concept art to be unveiled, here’s something.

How do long distance communication work in the star wars universe?
Time

Max_Rebo said:

I’m not interested in a technobabble explanation for how communications work, or even ways to reconcile what happens in Rogue One with what happened in the OT. I think the essential point is that the ease of access the rebels had to long distance real-time communications felt instinctively un-star warsy to me. It doesn’t automatically make Rogue One a bad film, and is actually quite fitting for the ‘War Movie’ vibe they were trying to achieve.

I agree with you, I had the same feeling.

Maybe it’s just this generation that needs to be in real-time communication all the time carried into the movie compared to the time the OT was made where you were on your own in vast space.
