Help: looking for... The Twilight Zone: The Movie Preservation?
Time

I’m just wondering if anyone has seen any effort to preserve this movie. To my knowledge, it was only released on VHS, so anyone with a decent capture card setup could probably convert it.

If anyone knows anywhere where this has been created on DVD or if anyone is interested in preserving it, please let me know.

For the 3D cover thing, go here:
Imandix
and download Imandix cover. The program is in English, even though the website isn't...

About the best transfer, it is my opinion that it is Moth3r's PAL Transfer, and if you have an NTSC player that doesn't support PAL DVDs, the Reinventing the Wheel release that is basically a conversion of Moth3r's PAL is right for you, although it's yet to be released (will be VERY soon though).

You want to know who I am?

LMAO !!!

Now, with this as the evidence, I am officially betting my 100th post (this one) that Dayv is the one who knows who MF is...

Y'know, MF must be Kevin Smith, because I saw Kevin Smith once and thought it was a good idea to punch him in the FACE, so I punched him in the FACE, then I came back to OT.com and MF was all like "My face hurts because someone punched me in the FACE," and I was all like "OH SNAP, it's him because I punched him in the FACE," so I was all like "I better tell a story about this in the form of an enormous runon sentence!"

...

Okay, that was stupid.

As you can see, I really need someone's help to make sexcellent episode numbers and names for the spines. If you can help out, drop me a PM please.

As of now, the back simply lists the same extras that the back of the official disk lists. I think I'll follow the two saber duels theme for the rest of the movies:
Ep II: Yoda VS Dooku on Top, Anakin VS Dooku on Bottom (Was there more than Dooku featured in saber-on-saber combat during that film that I missed? I can't think of any at the moment, but I have a feeling I'm forgetting something...)
Ep III: Anakin VS Obi-Wan on Top, Yoda VS Palpatine on Bottom
Ep IV: Obi-Wan VS Vader on Top, probably just a shot of Luke with a saber on the Bottom
Ep V: Shot of Beginning of ESB Duel on Top, Ending on Bottom
Ep VI: Luke VS Vader on Top, Luke on the desert skiff on the bottom

My 2 cents

That's the beauty of it though, isn't it? If you won't only 6 cases for the 6 movies, you can use them and the spines would make a perfect image of half of Vader.

Thanks!
I was thinking of releasing covers and then releasing hi-res blank spines for customization. The only current problem is that I describe the disc's contents on the back.

Here's my proposed saga collection list:

Case 1 - Episode I: The Phantom Menace - Disks 1 and 2
Case 2 - Episode II: Attack of the Clones - Disks 1 and 2
Case 3 - Episode III: Revenge of the Sith - Disks 1 and 2
Case 4 - Episode IV: A New Hope - Original Trilogy Version and Rowman Extras Disk
Case 5 - Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back - Original Trilogy Version and Rowman Extras Disk
Case 6 - Episode VI: Return of the Jedi - Original Trilogy Version and Rowman Extras Disk
Case 7 - Episode IV: A New Hope - 1997 Special Edition and 2004 Special Edition
Case 8 - Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back - 1997 Special Edition and 2004 Special Edition
Case 9 - Episode VI: Return of the Jedi - 1997 Special Edition and 2004 Special Edition
Case 10 - Extras:

The extras can contain...
-2004 SE Bonus Material
-Rowman Definitive Bonus Disc
Holiday Special
-OCPMovie's Deleted Magic
OCPMovie's Return of the Ewok and Other Short Films
OCPMovie's Special Edition Hype

A "-" means I think it's valuable enough to be a necessity. I also had the idea of just having cases 10-12 be four-disc cases and just add discs as more things come out.

I'm working on a new "Saga Set" of covers. I haven't quite decided what it will contain yet. I've got a few possibilities:
The disc number refers to the number of cases.
9-Disc: Prequels, OT, and 2004 SE (Which will be replaced as newer SEs come out)
12-Disc: Prequels, OT, 97 SE, 2004 SE
10-Disc: Prequels, OT, SE (I would have each movie in a two-disc case with the 97 SE on one side and the 2004 SE on the other), and the four Rowman discs (stashed in a 4-disc case)

Anyhow, here's a concept I whipped up for the spines that I REALLY am fond of:

The Cowclops Transfers (a.k.a. the PCM audio DVD's, Row47 set) Info and Feedback Thread (Released)

My apologies... I've been busy today, but I'm working on getting Empire ready for seeding. I should be done and upping at 30 kb/s within the hour.

Also, a recommendation to all downloaders:

Do NOT download the movies in order. If you download them out of order, we'll get seeders spread around more evenly and make downloads speedier for everyone (in theory, at least, heh).

Hey Dayv, if I'm correct, seasons 4 and 5 of the TV series "The Twilight Zone" are being released on these dates:
Season 4 - 10/18/2005
Season 5 - 12/27/2005

First of all, are these correct? Second of all, it would be great if you could help me out and let me know how many disks are expected to be in each season's box.

Thanks,
