.: The X0 Project Discussion Thread :. (* unfinished project *)

Can someone clue me in as to how this is actually going to be released? From what I understand, it will probably be like an AVI or something of the ilk...

Also, would I be correct to say that you'll be releasing the whole trilogy?

Thanks for all the hard work you've put in so far, and I'll try to get some money together for a worthy donation sometime soon...

Yep, everything says it's successful, and it seems to be in working order. I've now recorded multiple copies of ESB in the exact same way of ANH and RotJ, which both work perfectly, but Empire still refuses...

-_-

I should pick up a case of printable DVD-Rs sometime... I'll test it out then, although currently ESB hasn't worked on DVD-Rs or DVD+Rs...

Or maybe I should try seeing if someone could send me a working copy of it in exchange for something or another...

Oh well, I suppose I'm going to have to give TR47 a shot in the meantime, heh. Thanks for the help though, Phish.

yeah you didn't.

Maybe you could try and report back?

Well... That was odd...

Alright, I re-downloaded ESB, re-burned it, and got the same result on my PC.

I popped it in my DVD Player, and went to scene selection, and tried out "Hear Me"
It froze. The DVD Player itself still displayed "Play", as if it was playing video.
I hit eject, and kept hearing the disc slowing down and spinning up, but it didn't come out. After waiting a few minutes, I just turned off the whole DVD unit, turned it back on, and ejected the disc before the player tried to read it.

Huh...

Star Wars Saga 16 Disc Aluminum Case
Time
I'm just curious if anyone else has heard of this, since I've been eyeing it for months.
Picture
Website
It houses four DVDs each in seperate cases for the OOT, the SE, the Prequels, and another case for anything else.

I was thinking of getting mine a setup something like this:

OOT:
A trilogy from one of the many releases around here
Deleted Magic

SE:
The Official 4-DVD Box Set

Prequels:
The three official DVDs, after Ep III comes out.
A Two-disc DVD case to hold both volumes of the Clone Wars.

The Saga Continues:
Not quite sure. I'd probably just try to pick up some documentaries from around here, heh.

I have a question... I downloaded this copy of Empire (ANH and RotJ still downloading...) from MySpleen, and I've tried burning it three times, and every time, it hasn't worked on my DVD Player. I've tried it twice on DVD+R and once on DVD-R. All I burn is the nfo and the Video_TS folder. Any idea what I'm missing?

Thanks to anyone that can help.

Actually, the "Phantom Edit 2001 version" is just TPM with all the deleted scenes reinserted, I believe.

Really? I had no idea. I'll have to track it down and see.

Edit: Wait, didn't you do the Phantom Re-Edit? I thought this was a shorter version of the film. I will have to take a look and see my copy.

The Phantom Edit is a Re-Edit of TPM. I'm not sure if it puts in any scenes, but what it's most famous for is completely editing out Jar-Jar...

DVD Covers (Eps. I,II,III, V & VI)
Time
Linkified:
Episode I
Episode II
Episode III
Episode V
Episode VI

Anyhow, I LOVE the covers. I actually joined the forum just now mainly so I could compliment you on them. ^^
I plan on getting the aluminum 12-disk, 3-part collector box (no DVDs, just the box), and if you keep making this series, I'll definitely by printing them all out for my DVDs to have matching cases.

Excellent work wannabegeorge, excellent work indeed.
