Less people in Europe will buy it because we are more used to making use of 16:9 anamorphic on our 16:9 TVs. I( understand that 4:3 TVs are still quite dominant in the USA.
Wasn't there meant to be some footage on the first VHS release of Robocop 2 that starts with Weller giving a speech to camera telling the kids the drugs are bad.
Robocop is one of my all time favourite films and I've even developed a love for it's inferior sequel Robocop 2 (such a shame there isn't a watchable workprint of that arund).
I'd love to see some decent cover art for this set as well.
This all sounds good. I might have a go at season one of Angel. Although I think that might have to be two movies for season one as Doyle dies. Or maybe he could be killed off fairly soon into the movie?
I toyed with the idea of making some films out of Angel episodes, one thing that stumped me though was finding an easy way to remove on screen credits that lead into the episode for a minute or so. You know what I mean, you want to join two episodes together seeamlessly, so you don't want credits suddenly appearing.
I thought the space battle was well edited, but by removing much of the rescue footage and dialogue this seemed like one big space battle with little purpose.
Just wondered what is considered easier to work/edit with when doing a fan edit? Let's say you were going to work with just the MPEG Vob files, with little or no recompression.
I'm not suggesting converting one format to another, just a general question about the formats.
