Lets discuss the worst characters in all of Star Wars, canon and Legends. Exaggeration is welcome. I’ll go first.

Salacious Crumb. I really hate that little shit. I can’t take the Jabba’s Palace sequence seriously thanks to Crumb. What should’ve been a very dramatic opening act was ruined by his incessant laughing and screeching.

Vader really sums up my thoughts on this one.

Luke could still have a kid with a younger woman. He’s only like 53-54 in canon right now.

I suppose it is possible, but I just don’t see it happening. I feel like Luke is too jaded at this point.

I’d say EU is included based on era. If there was a dedicated OT thread, for example, then OT era EU characters could be discussed there. Post-ROTJ EU is a different case, since it’s almost entirely different than ST movies, and I don’t think it would make a whole lot of sense to include them into the same thread. Not really sure what to do in that case.

Fair. My intention was to spare anyone visiting the thread from the “Rey is a Mary Sue” conversation. That conversation seems to find it’s way into a lot of threads that aren’t explicitly about it.

What about three threads, one for each set of movies?

My only problem with that is that I don’t want to “flood” GSWD with 3 posts that could conceivably be made into one. Maybe one thread for OT+PT and another for ST would be a good middle ground? Anyone else have thoughts on this?

A place where we could discuss the worst (as in poor quality, annoying, and so on; not the most villainous) Star Wars characters. I’d probably have a “no sequel trilogy” rule so the thread doesn’t devolve into a TFA complaint thread.

I just realized we’ll likely see the Skywalker lineage end with Luke and Leia. I doubt that Rey will be a Skywalker, and I really don’t think Kylo will survive the trilogy.

Methinks if this keeps up, the whole thread is gonna be locked.

I’d put it in Fan Preservations, but that doesn’t seem like the place for questions, it’s more meant to document the progress of ongoing projects. Fan Edits, perhaps?

You don’t have the right to harass people without consequences just because you believe others you’ve suggested have done the same to you should be punished. You have a problem with me referencing something humorously that you’ve done openly and frequently, talk to a mod.

Seems to me that you’re purposely poking the bear, trying to goad him into a response, and when he gives in you say it’s harassment because you’ve asked him to stop. Being left alone is a two-way street, don’t mention him, he won’t mention you, and everyone will be happier for it.
