Ah… I’m not sure what feature might do that in audacity?
Ah… I’m not sure what feature might do that in audacity?
I’m not skilled at applying reverb but here it is with quieter volume and a very slight vocal reverb: https://youtu.be/8NFKKmt56yU
Here is the file with only pitch and eq changes so somebody else can tinker with the reverb and volume: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SA_mjRJS5yGCpETffTrWumPEf5P34MW1/view?usp=sharing
Not unless you want it to no longer have the gap space between “you” and “give me”. It would be a very quick reading more than likely.
I can fix that. The original line was already a bit deep, so I didn’t apply as significant of a pitch change to it before putting it into the video. I still have the original so I’m going to experiment with EQ and a more impactful pitch change.
EDIT: Here is a -5 pitch change instead of -3 (Audacity) plus some EQ: https://youtu.be/IPEDsdQrjlc
Here are two test I had time to put together: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1skwWcHS3STJdEGOoNNSTji1qBlDo2wwW/view?usp=sharing
Whatever you did here sounds nearly perfect and I can’t seem to replicate it on my end. Your two other recent tests sound robotic so if you’re doing the same thing for everything I’m not sure what happened.
EDIT: FINALLY replicated it with the new line - https://youtu.be/4OoYAj4iFcM
Use the following prompt to get it to speak slower krlozdac:
“You’re a ghost… In a rotting clone…”
The periods help a lot.
I think you pitched it a little too harshly. It’s starting to sound like he’s got his mask on.
I’ll let krlozdac handle the new lines we want then since he seems to be getting better outputs than me.
Ideally, we could throw in some mask less Kylo audio from Lego TFA to help balance out the results, but it seems Octorox’s drive no longer has any of the audio from that game.
That’s moreso for music covers I thought?
The truth of the matter concerning our current voice clone is that Adam Driver is reading an audio book with a higher pitched, cheerier voice. Meanwhile, Kylo speaks with a very dark authority in these scenes. Krlozdac and I tried to lower the pitch on the voice outputs but there’s only so much that can do.
Yup, we’re definitely onto something here. Take a look at this video I’ve drafted up:

EDIT - YouTube link because Drive takes forever: https://youtu.be/lliCB2XkTO0
That would only work if Palp responded with: “More than a clone, less than a man.”
You have to put a bunch of periods between the sentences to get a gap like that. But not too many or it glitches out.
Or just do it the lazy way and make two separate generations.
Darn I should have caught onto that I was just making the same joke lol.
I agree with Hal, remove the word “just”. Not sure how long of a pause there is for that last sentence of “Out for Revenge”. I’d recommend two files, one with it and one without it.
Krlozdac, if you are starting to run out of tokens on your account you can PM me the Adam Driver source audio and I can give it a whirl. I need to renew my account anyway for 3PO stuff in Hal’s Cloak of Deception.
“What’s that? You’ve cloned yourself? We’d better watch out for an Attack of the Clones!”
“You’re just a ghost, in a rotting shell”. I like that, and I thought about sharing it but I was trying to avoid referencing the anime Ghost in the Shell.
That’s exactly why I used that phrase! At least you have more restraint than I do.
JarJar, how do you give “direction” to ElevenLabs to have different iterations of the voices display more/varied emotion?
You use different labels and adjust the “stability” to a lower value. Less stability gives increased emotion at the cost of it likely glitching out. So you just keep generating until it gives you something you like.
“You’re just a ghost, in a rotting shell”. I like that, and I thought about sharing it but I was trying to avoid referencing the anime Ghost in the Shell.
“You’re just a ghost” isn’t half bad. But I’d personally prefer to namedrop the term “clone” in case a hypothetical first time viewer missed the vat of them from earlier.
There was a lot of clamor for a new final line for Ben. I was never outright opposed to the idea, but I didn’t think it was worth the effort to find the right source audio.
Since you’ve already done that for us, I suppose this is back on the table. It could be something he says to her through the Force after fading away, or we could try to find a spot where you can’t see his mouth very well.
Personally, I’d like to make the “finish what his grandfather started” link more explicit. Saving the one he loves from certain death and all that.
What about: “You possess dying clones… what could you give me?”
Woah that’s a really impressive voice ngl.
I would be 100 percent behind this if it weren’t for a conversation we all had awhile back. Basically, we don’t want the audience to think he’s just a clone of Palpatine. Somehow, it has to be clear that it’s a weak clone with the actual essence of Palpatine within. Having Kylo deliver that line gives more credence to the former rather than to the latter.
Are you using ElevenLabs? I feel like whatever you’re using isn’t detecting the robotic side of his voice and as a result doesn’t end up sounding much like Vader.
I’d say Finn’s arc in TROS is moreso about learning to fight for the galaxy at large - particular ex-troopers - and not just for the Resistance. He charges into battle with ex-Stormtroopers that aren’t technically a part of the actual Resistance.
A bit of a weak arc, sure, but imo it’s better than muddying the waters by being uncharacteristically ashamed of his Force-sensitivity.
What I like about this project is it streamlines a lot of the crap that JJ and Terrio threw in here for no real reason so people can at least try to understand the basic story.
It just begs the question why Finn is so defensive about him being Force sensitive. You’re telling me that he doesn’t want to tell Poe that before they’re (presumably) about to die? Isn’t this something that he should be proud of?
It just gives the impression that he’s got a crush on Rey that he doesn’t want to admit to throughout the entire film.
Ah right I’m familiar with that method I mod Skyrim a lot. I think it got a v3 update recently but it’s still noticeably robotic.
