The clip works well in my opinion! Only problem I can see is that the alien says: “Two jedi have landed in the main hanger bay, we’re tracking them.” aren’t they still cutting down the droids at this point? Why do they need to be tracked through the ship if they aren’t running around like the hologram suggests?
I also noticed this and mentioned it earlier. That infrared screen shows them running through a hallway. The only problem is that I’m not sure what else to do about that.
I was going over the most recent draft of the crawl, and while it’s very good, I have just one suggestion.

I agree, I think starting the sentence with “To” seems a bit off.
I have a nitpick of my own, but its more just a personal preference. Does anybody else feel like the sequel content really beat us over the head with the spark/flame metaphor? Similar to how Rogue One and modern OT-era content seems throw the word “hope” around with reckless abandon. Personally, I appreciate those types of metaphors more in smaller doses. I would love to see that particular line swapped to something like “In order to prevent an uprising, the First order has scattered…” But maybe that’s just me.
I am genuinely curious if anybody else feels the same way about the use of spark/flame/hope stuff though? Cool beans.
I think an “upRISING” fits in nicely with the title of the movie too.

I decided to do my own take on Hal’s crawl:

If I may, I would recommend your alternate Shaak-Ti clip with the extra space battle shot before the scene. This way, nothing needs to be cut, and it follows the original script better.
Switched up the Shaak Ti scene once more by moving the Grevious intro back again and splitting the hanger scene in half, implying that R2 takes time to find Palps, as well as trimming the Grevious walk to the window to move things along a bit faster.
Unfortunately I’m not sure that works either. The infrared screen clearly shows Anakin and Obi-Wan sprinting through a hallway, but then the camera goes back and they’re still in the hangar bay.

I’ve been considering using some Grevious lines from the game to replace the redunant lightsaber collection line and tried out a few here.
Thoughts?

The “You Jedi are all the same” line is better because the other line implies that they are using their light saber, even though they’re just standing there.
Okay, regarding the Shaak Ti death scene… HOW DID THEY MANAGE TO AVOID AN ‘R’ RATING WITH THAT SHOT???
Because it wasn’t in the movie, that’s why. Who knows, maybe that was part of the reason it got deleted.
I honestly prefer the old order of things when it comes to the Shaak-Ti scene. It seems strange that Grievous magically teleports from the bridge to where Anakin and Obi-Wan are in a matter of seconds.
Looks good! That was the one scene I was wondering if you would be able to put back in. Although definitely feel free to try out that other order to see if it works out.
This looks fantastic! Revenge of the Sith has always been my favorite movie in the saga, and it looks like this is the definitive extended edition. I would greatly appreciate a link to this project!
I finally got around to watching this edit. Excellent, but why didn’t you end up including Dooku’s “Just because there are two of you do not assume you have the advantage” ?
Since it comes from a PS2 game I’m pretty sure the resolution was poor. It would have been too jarring.
Perhaps put some quiet SFX of Kylo’s lightsaber, blasters, thuds, etc. that gradually get louder
I don’t remember who said it, but I think the only way the deleted scene from TLJ is going to work is if we skip the shots of Mustafar’s surface entirely and instead build up the sounds of battle as he’s staring out into space. I think that audio could really help sell the transition.

Unfortunately that shot has several watermakrs that make it unusable.
As for Evazan’s work, I think it looks great, but I’d replace that one shot of the lava flowing in a circle. It’s just strange and unnatural looking. Like it’s trying to form an arena for an unwitting protagonist.
I thought the arena shot looked good because this is supposed to be the shrine where Vader kept his wayfinder

Clearly you can see here that nothing really works with this clip as the video quality of the added shots is very poor as well as the added music.
