Wanted: Replacement Vinyl Capes
Time

Has anybody here had any success in finding a material that matches the old Vintage Vinyl capes? I have several Hoth Stormtroopers and the odd Darth Vader that are in prefect condition except for a torn or missing cape.

I have been collecting for nearly 10 years and have never come across suitable plastic sheeting. It must be out there somewhere!

Brace yourself Bossk.

I am afraid to say that Connectix's Virtual PC was purchased by Microsoft earlier this year.

Microsoft were keen to 'develop' the mac side of their range apparently! Hmm.

I am considering buying it but its quite expensive.

Thanks for everyone's help. It nice to be in the presence of Mac loving Star Wars fans!

Thanks for your suggestions. I did think about Virtual PC. But it is rather expensive and I really want to keep away from Microsoft products these days.

I too have done a thorough search on google and have found several sites with active links to the missing clips. However, for some reason some of them don't playback on my mac.

Therefore I really wanted to go back to the source.

My quest continues....

Star Wars Behind the Magic HELP
Time
Hi,

This is my first post on the forum, but I have been reading it with close interest for months now.

I wonder if any of you can help me. I own Star Wars Behind the Magic for PC which as you probably know shows some of the missing scenes from A New Hope.

However, as the years have passed I have moved over to Apple Macs and so I can no longer see the footage!

Does anyone know how I can 'rip' the footage from the CD-ROM. There are several huge files called Bundle.000, Bundle.001 etc.
Win RAR doesn't seem to decompress them! Any ideas, as I am desperate to see this footage again.

Many Thanks
