I understand guys. I believe what we are doing here is good work and work that Lucasfilm really should be doing themselves.

I just get the thought out of my head that I could be seriously f*cked if this thing ever got back to them.

However, I will be releasing the final version within the next two weeks. Progress is slow as I am so busy elsewhere at the moment, but rest assured, it's looking great and more polished than before!

Just wanted to update you all.

I have gone through 'Building Empire' and made tweek upon tweek over the last few weeks.

A friend of mine has some very cool ESB contacts and so I have been able to garner some lovely snippets of information right from the horses mouth. Even some info on a deleted scene that neither of us have ever heard about before.

I have also gone through and fleshed out some of the Dagobah sequences with more footage of Frank rehursing with Yoda. There is now also more footage of the effects guys at work (hey they deserve it). The split screen sections have gone and have been replaced by something much better.

Where possible I have taken Ocp's advice on making sure I compare each of the alternate audio clips with the original audio. This is to help those less familiar with ESB to notice some of the subtle changes and choices Lucas made before releasing the film to audiences. I know the film backwards, but not everyone does - it's easy to forget that.

I am also working on collating some DVD extras. I may be able (if I get permission from a contact) to use a couple of very cool behind the scenes programmes as the main extras. Along with this I will hopefully including isolated scenes with the restored music so that viewers can appreciate the impact of the music without being distracted by the text and behind the scenes footage as in the 'Building Empire' feature.

That would be great Sky. I tell you what might look nice on the front cover is the matte paining of the deflector dish and the night sky of Endor. Ooo the possibilities.

Would you consider offering a template for downloading with the logo and writing but with the photo area left blank? I would love to see what people could come up with.

It's really not worth releasing all these changes. Version 2 is really the final version and is mostly corrections and expansions on ideas.

I am currently working my way through Ocp's email (it's the longest email I have ever received!)

Ocp - thanks for your suggestions. Some of them I will go with, some of them I will not. And like you said it has given me some ideas of my own to improve this project. Having suggestions from everyone has given me real impetus to get this thing done and done well.
