Returning to Jedi will be a while yet mate. I am away for most of March and April and with no laptop I have no way to work on it.

Rest assured that in late April, May and June I will be working like crazy on it.

I have just sent out a copy to all those with an 'x' against them.

I was interested to read in Total Film this month that Whedon originally wanted to do a 'Han Solo before he joined the Rebellion' show. Having now seen Serenity I would have loved to see what Joss could have come up with! Wouldn't it be great to see him as a guest director on the SW TV series. He clearly has an affection for the saga and given his Han Solo comments on the commentary, he thinks like we do!

Thanks OCP for your kind review. With help from Meedermow I have been Qa'ing the project, correcting grammar, spelling and punctuation. The copy I sent you also had a couple of errors in it. I hope your notes reflect this and I look forward to any further points you wish to make. After I have received this email I will be finally releasing 'Building Empire'!

I hope to release a Kenner DVD and then an International Ads DVD. The Kenner ads are more readily available and the International ones mcuh aharder to find.

I would be VERY interested if anybody has Australian, Glasslite or Palitoy commercials. I only want to deal with the vintage ads. So no later 1985 please.

Ok, you've caught my attention with the Rarities 3 disc! Are you sure it's got POTF ads on there!!??

Ocp goes on to say it's missing ROTJ era stuff and POTF was released in 1984.

Ah I think you mean the 1995 POT range don't you. I am only interested in vintage thanks.

I would be interested in getting a copy of this. Particularly if someone has a good disc that doesn't crash/quit.

Daveytod - thanks for the list - but I already have all those ads. And if they are in WMV format I doubt that are much better quality than the ones I already have. Could you perhaps post a screengrab of the Land Of The Jawas Playset one?

A collection of all the available Kenner Star Wars toy adverts from the 70s and 80s.

They are all telecines from 16mm and 8mm films used by Kenner for promotional purposes.

Klowerk, I got the Kronkite visit to ILM and I've used a couple of shots from it. Thanks for the contact details.

I didn't use any images from Blueharvest. Where possible I tried to find higher res pictures.
