I love that cover, though I would be grateful if you could remove my 'name' as I think it works better without it.

In reference to the Se audio mix being used, it was simply a matter of time contraints, getting the right pictures was difficult enough! Furthermore I was also unable to include every little fact that I wanted to, as I wanted to keep a certain flow to the proceedings. There are plenty of other audio changes and flipped shots but in the end I just had to pick what I thought were the most interesting ones and run with them.

As far as moving the Imperial Fleet scene it was done to make the narrative flow a little better, and as far as I can see it's similar to how the scene would have been ordered had the extra Wampa scenes been included.

Thanks also to Boba feta for the cover you've designed, it looks fantastic. I've alwasy loved that poster. Sorry I haven't replied personally but I have a full inbox and can't reply until I've deleted some. One criticism on the cover - there is a very long sentence on the back that is difficult to read. You might want to break it up. Otherwise another great addition to this project.

Great looking cover adywan! When i get back from my travels and try to send out a few more copies of BE, I am going to put your cover (and Ash595's) in the DVD-ROM folder!

Meedermow - I agree with the Carrie comment. She was so cute back then and a bit of a rebel - two qualities that really float my boat.

Moth3r - I just noticed that the Building Empire link on the 'OFFICIAL DVD INDEX: Star Wars Preservation and Fan Edits' page actually links to Deleted Magic rather than this thread. Any chance you could fix it. Thanks.

Anyway, GREAT easter egg. I can't tell you how glad I am that this is on there. I had suggested to you that this would make a good new opening for the film - and clearly it's too long for that - but I'm glad it's on there somewhere. It's very relevant. =D


Yeah, I did make some attempts to integrate it into the start sequence, but with out any real success. So, I decided to hide it for all you good folks to find.

I have a couple of criticisms of the cover you've made Ash.

Firstly, you need to Capitalise 'The Empire Strikes Back' on the back of the cover.

And, if you are going to use one of the Final Cut Pro grabs, can I suggest that you use one of the later ones which reflects the project better (how about this one)

Otherwise, it's a great cover. I just love the image you've used on the back.

I've just got back from my far flung travels - knackered!

Thanks so much for the most recent comments, it really means alot. And even though work and life is frantic at the moment I should be making some good progress on RTJ in the coming months.

Hello all from a far flung land.

Just managed to log on a read some of the latest comments. Sorry to hear that several of you have a had disc problems. Perhaps my burner is playing up again or perhaps it's the brand of disc. Though I've not had any problems with them in the past - hence picking them for this project.
