Maybe if I have time some day I will transcode the final video files that make up the DVD to NTSC (I even have the whole FCP timeline too). But to be frank, it's pretty low on my list at the moment.

I am looking for a free or cheap forum/group website where I can have threads and post forums with my family and friends. I used to use myfamily.com but they are just a pain in the butt.

Ocp, you're correct of course. I think I may speed up the credits to condense the length and make sure I can get everything on the DVD.

I am still waiting for some VERY cool material that probably 99% of you have never seen. I haven't even seen it all yet, but what I have seen is splendid.

BTW, is there anyone out there willing to do one saber rotoscope shot for me? You will need the right skills and the ability to keep a secret though

Well I have been going great guns on 'Returning to Jedi' these last few days and things are looking great. I still have lots of work to do but just take a look at this timeline. It gives you some idea of how many edits there are:

Just compare it to the one on Page 7 of this thread and you'll see the progress I've made.

Great to see this project moving ahead. I really can't wait to see and hear both the ESB reels! It's going to be great to finally have the dialogue differences along with the footage in a watchable form.

Great work Darth! I love the fact that you are beavering away making some covers ready for it's release! Thanks so much for your input. When they are finished, let me know and I will make sure the covers are included in the release.

Some suggestions -

- How about adding a border surround to the 'Building Empire' logo?
- Try to replace the Jedi Leia with a picture that's more relevant to the film.

I have managed to get some work done on 'RTJ' last night and today and I am very pleased with the results. Thanks to a fantastic contribution from a wonderful guy, I have just finished editing a scene which I think you guys are going to get a real kick out of.

I am now waiting on two sources - Time & Again from an OT member and one other from a secret source.

They are just a few cut aways really. In the battle sequence you can see a few of the archer Ewoks as well as the two Ewoks that are sat up on the trees ready to release the logs that hit the AT-ST from both sides. The quality chance is fairly noticeable. More details in 'Returning to Jedi'...

Mate, I know how it feels. These things really do take a lot of effort, dedication and sacrifice. I have reached several difficult patches with 'Returning to Jedi' lately that I was sure would be the end. However, given so much input from elsewhere and some deep routed determination (that I didn't know I had!), I am willing to get this thing done. Plus I have so much material to work with.

Sorry that we won't see your project in a finished form, but congrats on getting this far!

You know what, I didn't know that! I haven't seen these since I was a kid. In fact I distinctly remember being taken to Bexley Heath Cinema (what a flea pit!) for a birthday suprise to see Caravan of Courage. Needless to say I was very dissappointed to see no Luke, no Han and no Leia!

I had better get a copy asap! Off to play.com I think.

Baby hum.

I am a huge fan of your work (don't let that comment above ruin it for you). I would have offered my services but I don't have a way of getting things off my Sky box at the moment. I will however record it in case my situation changes in the meantime.

Come on people - surely someone can give a little back to one of the biggest contributors in this community!

With parts of these boards filling up with stupid comments and petty arguments, I must admit that I have considered whether or not to even finish the projects I am involved with. Please think before you post.

Well with only a few days until October 2006 arrives, I can categorically state that 'Returning to Jedi' will be delayed.

I continue to wait on input from a few sources and my own work level on the doco has not been very productive of late. Sorry for those that were expecting it to arrive bang on time but life, as you know, often gets in the way of hobbies.

I am now thinking Christmas is a more likely release date. But as always, I will keep you posted!
