At the moment i'm working on the backpacks and other costume parts needed to ship over to Rougue Leader and the 2nd unit for the Hoth Troopers.

Good to hear from you again Ady,.

Just spotted what Fine-Molds will be releasing next month

It's a 1:144 version of your 1:72 kit, looks good, there will be clear parts also, this is an early cast for the launch.

There's more photos: http://www.hlj.com/wonfesw10.html

Think its retailing about £35

I've really enjoyed Adywan's work, but some of you are starting to do the same garbage as Lucas did with the OT. You see, many of peoples here are blaming Lucas for the whole SE stuff and changes, but are you not starting do the same as he did? What's the point of putting more and more things on the screen? And really, your proposed color correction is as bad as the 2004 DVD's. Why not simply put the colors from the original version, fix the lightsabers and that's all?

At the beginning I was pleased with the revisited idea, but now it is going in wrong direction. It's going in even worse direction than Lucas did. I though you simply loved the original trilogy. Only thing what was missing there were quality and colors. If this two things are done, I don't see any point of making another PT-garbage with OT. On your place I would left it, wait till Adywan fix important things and enjoy my life.

And remember - I am not attacking you. I simply don't understand this whole Lucas blaming if your doing then even worse garbage than he did and then saying "I loved the unchanged OT".

I don't know if I am one of the people that you are pinpointing but this is a suggestion thread, a place for people to be creative, point out bloopers and poor areas in the films, a lot of these ideas are impossible to change and may not be done, by Adywan or whoever.......in a nutshell......its all a bit of fun, really.

Is there plans to make Anakin disapear out of the Vader Suit like Yoda and Obi-Wan did? It seems like a continuity error to keep his body intact when two scenes later we see he became one with the force. Keeping the burning of the suit still makes sense IMO (Symbolically ridding the evil of Anakin).

It's not that much of a continuity problem as Qui-Gon didn't vanish either (he even got burned on a pyre like Anakin).

My taking of the Force-ghost thing is, as explained by Lucas at the end of ROTS, Qui Gon had been studying immortality through the force, Like Darth Plagus the Wise and made his return from the wilderness of death, we are now led to believe that in his return he now communicated with Yoda and Kenobi in their retirement and educated them in immortality. Palpatine was also studying from Plagus's instructions and was passing this knowledge on to his apprentice, Vader, but I don't know what happened, wether Plagus's knowledge was faulted or immortality doesn't apply to Sith, so perhaps when Vader repented by saving his son the knowledge he had acquired was enough for him to become one with the Force.......or is that a load of crap?

Thanks Timstuff, but your Vader doesn't look right!!

The new falcon model seems to be full of even more problems than the previous, I might try to transplant the good of one version to the other and end up with a hybrid version. I might do a nice EP3 YT-1300 that we couldn't see very well, maybe try to re-imagine a pre-Solo modified Falcon.

Yeah, the sidewalls on this model are non editable (as were many other areas on this model, docking rings etc). I have high res images of the sidewalls which I intended to use, but the model has limitations. I've found a different model which is fully editable, thank goodness as it has its faults also. It's based on the 32" ESB Falcon.

ut I have to take care of the Falcon first, which is happening to be a huuuuge task as you can imagine!

Heres one of the images I used to wrap the Falcon model, its of the Finemolds Falcon kit (you can see the inaccuracy of the angles on the mandibles), the second is the bare 3d model (downloaded from Sci-Fi 3D) and the last is the Finemolds image modified to fit on the 3D model.

Anyway heres the model in motion

Spot the model differences,

Been messing around with textures and photos of the studio scale 32' falcon, and placing them onto a model based on the 6ft model from ANH, the medical frigate is poor I know but I'm trying to keyframe the Falcon only into original footage. This is just a test of movement, with no motion blur.

Mac is the way to go, you've got bootcamp so you can run Vegas & Architect, If you can get Final Cut studio you'll have Final Cut, Motion (similar to After Effects), Soundtrack Pro & DVD studio Pro (which will do all your menu commands as you've mentioned).

I used Vegas for years from v4 to v8 and I still prefer it to FC, but I don't have bootcamp & I do miss it.

But now I live a stress free life without PC's!!
