As was said recently the PT was poor because McQuarrie was not involved, not even as a consultant, the OT's look was from his mind.

Yes I have to agree with everyone here, for me the Max Reebo band kinda ruins the movie,* it didn't go too well in the OUT, and it's even worse CG'd (keep on thinking its Joe Cocker http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQYDvQ1HH-E around the 2:00 mark)

Even use something in the style of the Sail-Barge music, it doesn't sound too bad.

Your'e talking about Vader's natural voice sounding like an old man, this is a guy who was fried in lava and had to have a machine breathe for him for 20 years, I think you were right when you said you might get negative comments.

Remember for best results render out with the same settings and frame-rate as your source.

As for the Emperor thrown room on the dish... Technically it makes sense considering there's a huge shaft that leads down to the reactor and super laser leads to the hyper matter reactor... Either that or it's on the Northern most pole where the original exhaust port was located...  Instead of proton torps, use a Sith Lord. ;)

I may be posting this and you guys may be suggesting where the throne room COULD be in a new edit and already know of this shot, but this is it on the surface (North Pole sounds probable)

I'm not disagreeing with you mate, everything you have said is valid but I don't look so deep into the whole thing, I saw Star Wars when I was 9 in '77 and I got the concept that the Imperial (faceless) Fighters were dispensable, they flew the 'off-the-production-line' ships which were also dispensable, but the Rebels...you were feeling their loss by the end of the movie at Yavin, thats what the OT was all about.... you can have all the power in the galaxy and it's worth nothing.

The clip is amazed me, and from my point of view the falcon as real as it can be. It doesn't seems CGI...not at all. Moreover it is like an old fashioned model from the old time which is great and makes the scene more believable to me. It is simple perfect, no need to change at all.

Firstly this clip is amazing! 

But....I agree with others here, the Falcon does look as though it has been whitewashed...the Falcon isn't that pale.
