Tried that Jedi clip earlier, but it doesn't look right, too long a shot over his shoulder....maybe need a shot from ESB SD crew in pit as an intro shot.

Yeah, forgot bout the Yavin bits Mr Fish, the X-wing approach, pity they didn't do the whole Death Star battle as it jumps from obvious models to obvious CG, nothing seamless.

Overall I'd still prefer to watch the Classic to the SE......Adywans :R is easily the supreme version though.

The only SE CG parts I like in the film is the Falcon powering up & the sandcrawler.

The rest just stands out and ruins the film for me.

Edit: The GOUT footage of Mos Eisley is poor also, so I can see why George attempted to improve it, but instead made it worse.

I could actually see it being fairly easy to build one from scratch. Anybody with some RC car knowledge should be able to.

DE, the image of the Mos Espa house was someones holiday photo in Tunisia of the SW sets and the speeder was a very good life-size replica, all images found on Google images.

I know Darth Editous has made a new camera projection establishing shot of Obi-Wan's home, but I just don't like the new SE inserts of Mos Eisley & Ben's home.

I remember Darth Venal did a mockup of the palace surrounded with a large vineyard style moisture farm (remember the olives in The Godfather and the oranges in Chinatown) to grow fresh food to feed the court (which ties in with feudal castles too).

Putting the Palace in an Oasis is a logical extension to that idea.

Tents and banners representing an encampment for people waiting on an audience might be nice too.

Between all the comic relief on these threads there are some good ideas, my only worry is if suggestions like this gets lost in the jetsam.
