I remember the talk of a 9 part saga, but kinda strange when Jeremy Bulloch mentioned 9 parts to SW a few weeks ago at Invasion 3 in Belfast's W5.

He was there with Richard LeParmentier (Admiral Motti).

He doesn't mention it in this clip, but heres a bit anyway.

Well written Anchorhead, I remember feeling disappointed with ROTJ after the fantastic ESB, Jedi seemed to be a joke, cheap and rubbery at the start, pantoish (but cool) at the end.

I did get caught up in the excitement when Star Wars came back with the prequels, high hopes, but I remember feeling embarrassed for Star Wars almost like bumping into an old friend and he's not the way you remember him....lost his marbles.

After seeing the rest of the prequels and enjoying parts of them.....time has passed and I have divorced myself from them the same way I have erased Alien3 & Alien Resurrection from my head.......like Superman 3&4.......like Jaws 3 and..........you know what I mean.

Star Wars and its sequel were amazing, ROTJ was ok to end the movies....but the rest of what was made is just poor.

No problem Frink, gonna do some tests with a short DVD to see if I can replace the original title with another slightly modified one and keep the original menu structure......, if it works Muddyknees is gonna post me a copy of his Purist disc then I'll try the edit...........that's the plan.

I have always thought that Palps & Vader have known of Skywalker and who he was since the destruction of the Death Star, Vader becoming obsessed in finding him as the opening crawl says.

Palps urgent conversation with Vader is because suddenly things have changed, there is a disturbance in the force, ie: for nearly 20 years the Jedi have been extinct and now all of a sudden these 2 Sith can feel tremors in the force, as Yoda has returned and Luke is getting stronger, like flies caught on a spiders web.

If you think of it this way....everything makes sense.......but not if you listen to the new SE dialogue.......that really throws everything into the contradiction zone!

Then he realised what he was trying to explain was what if the opening graphics of SW were a bit like Superman The Movie,  But then someone misunderstood him and created an opening title sequence exactly like Superman, music and all.
