Yeah there is a marked difference in the audio recording of ANH compared to the other two, its like they hadn't recorded the vocals very well....listen to Vader for example....no bass in his voice....sounds a bit clipped.
I would compare the vocal recording to Jaws...it sounds similar

Just saw the advert for the set on TV, they actually spent time involving the on-screen text....so that text is revealed when ships etc fly past etc......well at least they did put some thought into those effects.....pity about the movies:)

I do feel that with so much negative press, tweets & chat that he may cave in and go towards what everyone wants......but I can't imagine he'll give us a scan of the original print....its like he's embarrassed by it (ANH, that is)

If George was to give in to pressure in releasing the Original Unaltered Trilogy (or the Classic Trilogy as he now calls them) on Blu-ray, especially now with all the negative attention, he would inform us that he would be sending the original film stock to Lowry Digital, make a future proofed 4k (or higher) scan......but insisted on cleaning up the movies.....fixing mistakes, composites.....poor visual effects.....but nothing too drastic......no Greedo shooting first,....no Jabba in ANH.....
Would that be acceptable?

After looking at the RmcQ concept paintings, I was struck on how confined the establishing Tatooine shots are.....Ralphs painting makes R2 & 3po seem truly lost and isolated.....
