I make up a story, and you add on to it.

"THE ADVENTURES OF Mr. STICK & Mr. SPHERE"

PROLOGUE:
Once upon a time, there was a stickman named Mr. Stick, whose head, hands, and legs had a face. He had a sidekick named Mr. Sphere who looked like Kirby, except he had no arms and wore sunglasses. And they traveled the galaxy on a flying pig, attempting to free the galaxy from the evil Emperor Xarok, a man forever concealed inside a dark suit, and his oppresive X Legion, whilst evading the half-human-half-machine-wacky-yet-cunning Terror-Former and his ruthless-yet-stupid army of Tekbots. The heroes' secret weapon is their knowledge that Xarok's children, Keiko (boy) and Keika (girl), are being educated as knight and senator and both want revenge for the death of their mother, who is [not] dead, but cryogenically asleep inside Xarok's desk in his throne room on the 109th floor of his shiny, spiked fortress on the gloomy, gritty, hellish planet of Helfrietz Etzover, the capital of the galaxy.

CHAPTER 1:
One day, Stick and Sphere visit Stick's uncle, who resides in a primitive village on the Ice World of Britzkold. Suddenly, a humungo dragon emerges from the icy ground and burns the village to a crisp. Annoyed that their visit is ruined, Stick and Sphere cut off the dragon's head, only to discover it was a mechanical dragon being controlled by Terror-Former! "You win this round, maggots! But wait till I return with a bigger Beast of Burden! AHHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!" Then he flies off, with Stick and Sphere in hot pursuit....

I have to agree with you guys, all three games were as hard as hell.

The interesting point is: As with all Star Wars games, the universe has been expanded for gameplay reasons. But in this case, the universe has become more hostile. A few examples:

Super ANH:

-Once only 2 meters wide, Womprats are now twice your size. And there's even a King Womprat!

-The Sarlacc may not have a beak, but it can now rise 25 feet high and throw fireballs at you!

-Jawas now kidnap robots and their Sandcrawler is a war machine!

-Luke's landspeeder has turbo jet and can now fly into the sky!

-There's giant scorpions in the desert!

-Jawas scour the desert on hoverchairs and throw thermal detonators at you!

-Luke must now rescue C3PO and R2D2 instead of buying them.

-There's a giant lava monster in the sandcrawler!

-R2D2's chess piece now comes to rip you to pieces inside the cantina!

-Now YOU can shoot Greedo! (Just make sure he doesn't shoot you first.

)

-There's a gigantic robot in the Death Star's hangar bay!

-Now YOU must deactivate the tractor beam!

Super ESB:

-There's a gigantic probe droid four times the size of a normal one!

-There's a gigantic wampa head with arms but no legs that can freeze you with his breath!

-You can ride a speeder bike inside Echo base!

-What was once a calm, tranquil swamp is now infested with hostile jungle monsters! Luke must now save R2D2 himself and find Yoda while surviving the jungle!

-Chewie must now shoot Ugnaughts to free C3PO!

-Luke now has to fight cloud cars (or are they TIEs?) to reach Cloud City.

-Chewie now goes 1-on-1 with Boba Fett!

-You actually beat Darth Vader and keep your hand! (But then how does Luke find out Vader's his father?)

Super ROTJ:

-The team now flies in a hi-tech Landspeeder to reach Jabba's palace!

-The team must now cross a dangerous canyon to reach Jabba's palace, where the "greeter droid" is now four times your size and electrocutes you!

-You're forced to fight in front of Jabba.

-Luke must now find the Rancor inside a spiky maze.

-The Ewok village is now infested with nasties!

-Luke no longer needs to surrender to Vader, because he now has to fight hulk cyborgs in order to board a shuttle!

-The Shield Generator doesn't need protection. The nasty machines do their job well!

-Once on the Death Star, Luke has to climb a tower full of Imperial nasties!

-The red guards combat you. (They learned how to fight after what happened in ROTS.

)

-Now Luke fights and kills the Emperor! (Which is funny, because I thought Luke would turn to the Dark Side if he killed the Emperor. And now how is Vader supposed to redeem himself?)

Another interesting thing is: I loved Super ROTJ, and asked for it as a present one time. But instead, I got Super ANH, and ROTJ on video. I still have those to this day.

I've been looking at the DVD Bootlegs of the OOT being sold on Ebay. Some of them look very promising, especially this one.

But then this comes to mind: Should I buy one, if I can get one for free here. After all, I sent DarkJedi a PM about a month ago requesting a copy of his "FACES" set, and he never responded.

So what do you think? Should I buy one off Ebay? Or is someone nice enough to make me a copy?

You're all complaining about George Lucas adding CGI effects to the Star Wars Trilogy, right? But did you ever stop to think about this:

If you complain about classic movies being tampered with, how come you don't complain about classic games being tampered with? Because they are being tampered with...

Have you ever played the two PC games DOOM and QUAKE? Both games revolutionized the gaming industry in their own way. But they got so old people moved on to other games. But after the release of their source codes, people began to tinker with them so they can compete with today's hits, like Star Wars to the Matrix. Now both games have 3D models, hi-res textures, mp3 music, and other dandy crap that appeals to gamers today.

As with Star Wars, they both look better than the original version, right? So why complain?

Now I am with you guys because Lucas does need to re-release the original version of his trilogy. We don't need to worry about DOOM and QUAKE though, because id re-releases them all the time. And they even let fans modify the game themselves, unlike Lucasfilm being the only one who can legally modify the films.

But if you wanna whine about movies and games, be my guest.

BTW, you can download the DOOM and QUAKE SEs here and here.
You need the original game's data files for it to run, so if you don't have the game, get the shareware versions.

I want to make a fighting game which is similar to the Marvel Vs. Capcom games. I only want to use Marvel characters, and I want to use 3D because it's easier to make than a 2D game. I originally intended to make the game using the 2D engine known as MUGEN. But I dropped that engine because it was too hard to program and no one wanted to help me with it. That's why I need an engine that's easy to program as well.

Does anyone know of a good, simple-to-use 3D game engine which I can use to make fighting games?
