They and Raven Software are making a new Marvel game for the next-gen systems. It's like X-Men Legends, but will include the entire Marvel Universe. There will be over 140 characters in the game total.

I was just thinking of the two greatest crossover games of our time: Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, and Capcom Vs. SNK 2. In each, you can do 3-on-3 battles and do major hyper combos on the poor jerk who thinks he can beat you. In fact, I'm getting copies of the games for my PS2 even though I already have them, since they're so good.

Out of the two, I favor MVC2 over CVS2 because it has Marvel characters. My favorite characters in MVC2 are Iron Man, Hulk, and Wolverine. My favorite in CVS2 is Sagat (I only use Capcom character in that game. )

What's your favorite out of the two? And who's your favorite characters?

P.S.: Check out my sig to take a look at and download the DC Vs. Marvel Project.

Return of the Jedi Script Game
Time
Yoda: That face you make. Look I so old to young eyes?

Luke: No, of course not.

Yoda: Yes I do. Yes I do. Sick have I become. Old and weak. When 900 years old you reach, look as good you will not, hmm? Soon will I rest, yes. Forever sleep. Earned it I have.

Luke: Master Yoda, you can't die.

Yoda: Strong am I with the Force, but not that strong. Twilight is upon me, and soon night must fall. That is the way of things.

Luke: But I need your help. I've come back to finish the training.

Yoda: No more training you require. Already know that which you need.

Luke: Then I am a Jedi.

Yoda: Oh, heh-heh-cough. Not yet. One thing remains. Vader. You must confront Vader. Then, only then, a Jedi will you be.

Luke: Master Yoda, is Darth Vader my father?

Yoda: Hmm, rest I need. Yes...

Luke: Yoda, I must know.

Yoda: Your father he is. Told you, did he?

Luke: Yes.

Yoda: Unexpected this is. And unfortunate.

Luke: Unfortunate that I know the truth.

Yoda: No. Unfortunate that you rushed to face him. That incomplete was your training. That not ready for the burden you were.

Luke: Sorry.

(Whew. That's all I have right now. I'm afraid I'll get Yoda's death words mixed up, so I'll let someone else do the honors. I'll nail Obi-Wan and Mon Mothma's lines later on...)

Return of the Jedi Script Game
Time
Luke: That's right R2. We're going to the Dagobah system. I've got a promise to keep, to an old friend...

Emperor: Rise, my friend.

Vader: The Death Star will be completed on schedule.

Emperor: You have done well Lord Vader. And now I sense you wish to continue your search for Young Skywalker.

Vader: Yes, my master.

Emperor: Patience, my friend. In time, he will seek you out. And when he does, you will bring him before me. He has grown strong. Only together can we turn him towards the Dark Side of the Force.

Vader: As you wish.

Emperor: Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen. HaHaHaHa

C-3PO: Victims of the almighty Sarlacc, his excellency hopes you shall die honorably. But should any of you wish to beg for mercy, he shall listen to your pleas.

Han: 3PO! You tell that slime-bucket he'll get no such pleasure from us!

Luke: Jabba, this is your last chance. Free us or die.

Jabba: Move him into position.

A guard goes up to Luke. Luke nods at Lando and cues R2 to ready his lightsaber.

Jabba: Put him in!

The guard forces Luke off the plank. Luke jumps off, grabs the plank, and flips up into the air, grabbing and igniting his lightsaber and swinging away at the guards.

Mortal Kombat
Time
In my opinion, the new MKs are better, both in graphic quality and difficulty. The old ones, with their digitezed palette-swapped actors and plain backgrounds, just pale in comparison to the sickingly sweet graphic details of the new ones. And they were way too difficult to even bother with. The new MKs play fair in difficulty and it's fatalities are easier to do.

In 1998, I would have said MK4 or Trilogy would have been my favorite. But since MK Armageddon is basically the next MK Trilogy and has the same 3D feel of MK4, that's my new favorite.

Right now I'm playing Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance, and now I'm thinking, this would make a great thread...

What 's your favorite Mortal Kombat game out there right now? And who's your favorite character?

For me, I'd have to say Mortal Kombat Armageddon when it come out, because it will have EVERY MK character in there, like MK Trilogy. And my favorite character is Sub-Zero.

Luke enters the room.

C-3PO: At last! Master Luke has come to rescue me!

Bib wakes Jabba up.

Bib: Jabba! Luke Skywalker, Jedi Knight has come to see you!

Jabba: I told you not to admit him.

Luke: I must be allowed to speak.

Bib: He must be allowed to speak.

Jabba: You weak-minded fool! He's using an old Jedi mind trick!

Luke: You will bring Captain Solo and the Wookiee to me.

Jabba: Ho Ho Ho! Your Jedi powers will not work on me, boy!

Luke: Nevertheless, I'm taking Captain Solo and his friends. You can either profit from this or be destroyed. It's your choice, but I warn you not to underestimate my power.

C-3PO: Master Luke! You're standing on...

Jabba: There will be no bargain, young Jedi. I shall enjoy watching you die. Ho Ho Ho

Luke grabs a gun from a nearby guard and fires it at Jabba an instant too late. Jabba pressed his button, and Luke and a pig guard fall into the pit...

Graduation Day
Time
I'm graduating from high school June 3rd. Congradulate me.

My school's webpage:
Central Lake

After that, I'm going to a technical school to learn about computers, then I'm going to a better college to learn about game designing. So expect a lot of great stuff from me later in life!

BTW, I heard about the non-anamorphic OOT coming to DVD this september. I earned enough money ($90) to buy it when it comes out. I don't care if it's anamorphic or not. I'm getting it...

And I'll always come back here whenever I want a free copy of the OOT, because I know you guys are good to me.

Syndrome Killer
Time
I've already told you before that the villain from "the Incredibles" gave me a lot of bad memories. That's only half the story. This is what I tried doing to help get rid of the bad memories:

-I try thinking of good memories from Disney movies I LIKED. (No Pixars)

-I destroyed and set fire to my copy of the movie.

-I sent e-mails to Pixar and telephoned them numerous times. They apparently couldn't help me, and if I telephone them again I'll get arrested.

-I see a therapist about once a week, and she has me take this medication to help me think of good things, which isn't working anymore.

-I have my mom buy me DVDs of good movies I LIKE. (Like Star Wars and Hercules)

In my last e-mail to Pixar, I wanted them to make me a program where I could hunt down Syndrome and kill him by any means I want to, because I hated his death in the movie. I'd have a shield to block his freeze thing, and wings to chase him in his rocket boots. I could use anything to kill him from a knife and a shotgun to a rocket launcher and a cannon. Something like DOOM.

Pixar refused to make the program because it wasn't their business; they told me to find someone online to make it for me. Since I know you guys are great at editing movies, I thought maybe some of you people could make this program fdor me.

Why I hate "The Incredibles"
Time
Was killing every superhero in his universe really portraying the golden age?

His superpower was unfair because it gave him too much of an advantage. Well now that I think of it, Violet and Dash could have beaten him, but no, they wanted to make him all powerful.

Like I said before, all his evil laughs were unnecissary. They were just thrown in to make him more of a general supervillian. But he was already too intense to be general, and the laughs make him even worse.

He was too intimidating. Yelling, saying he had a robot only he could defeat, kidnapping children, trying to make a superhero cry, etc.

"They will kill you if they get the chance"? Killing children. That's very kid-friendly. They had to further up the ante by making him have no respect for life at all. Except his own. I can't believe he tried to escape his own death. And that stupid "ack!" noise he made. I would have accepted that death if he took it more seriously.

That's all the reasons I hated Syndrome, and the movie. (I didn't want to use the name but you guys said it anyway.) Basically, they tried too hard to make the villian too evil. I sent them e-mails telling them about my bad memories, and they even admitted he was too intense!

I've been buying and watching a lot of old Disney movies that I like to help get rid of the bad memories, like Lion King, Aladdin, Hercules, and Tarzan. And since you're great movie creators, maybe you guys could help make me copies of the ones I can't get in stores anymore?

No pixar movies, though, because that will just make it worse.

Why I hate "The Incredibles"
Time
Have you ever hated a movie, not because of how stupid it was (Like the Special Editions), but because it offended you and gave you bad memories?

That's the deal with me and the villian from "The Incredibles". Every moment he had on screen was offensive to me. He was too intense, his laughs were unnecsesary, and his super power and repetitive dialogue is what I consider "Unfair". Nevertheless, the villian gave me many bad memories, and I've had to stay away from all Pixar movies, because if I watch just one, they'll come back full force.

My favorite superhero is Iron Man, of Marvel Comics, and I'd like to his new movie called "Ultimate Avengers". I really like the Marvel Universe, because when I watch the movies, I know it's not the actual dialogue, the real dialogue is the comics. I know, because I read the comics to solve a bad memory before, and the memory went away. Unfortunately, this isn't the solution for "The Incredibles", as it's original dialogue was the movie, so it's been harder to deal with.

I thought if I told people online about the situation, they'd understand and help me with it. After all, they had to deal with Star Wars' Special Edition and Prequels, so they must feel the same way I do. I'll tell you more about how I've been trying to get rid of the movie's bad memories as this thread progresses.

Help: looking for... OCP's Classic Editions of the OT
Time

I really enjoy those “FACES” DVDs by Dark Jedi that bwlag gave me for Christmas. It’s nice that I can watch the OOT without worrying about scratching up my original VHS tapes.

But there’s a copy out there that has something the “FACES” set doesn’t have: An Isolated Musical Score. No words, no sound, just music. I always like to listen to music I feel is great, and the score for the Star Wars movies is just that.

That being said, I’d like a copy of Ocpmovie’s Classic Editions of the three films. Because no one can download a copy of the ISOMIX version anymore, this would be the ideal set I can listen to the Isolated Score with.

So if anyone here can tell me who the right person is to ask, I’ll ask them to mail me a copy to my house. I just ask for disc covers on the CDs, because I suck at making those, but I’ll make the DVD cases myself.

And I wouldn’t mind Rowman’s Special Features discs included as a bonus…
