I finished it.
Well, personally I’m quite satisfied with the result. The Color Correction usually works, I like the title and the new music tracks.
I think the process that builds the love story between Anakin and Padmé is at least acceptable: less cringe, less Anakin talking.
I feel that everything is more grounded. No Jedi being like semi-gods. They have supernatural powers, but they are more believable. During the chase sequence, Anakin does not fall for miles from the speeder-car before reaching the bounty hunter. During the Obi Wan/Jango fight, Kenobi does not use the rope like he did in the original. The over the top droid factory sequence is gone, replaced by the Dooku/Padmé deleted scene. The duel with Dooku is shorter, and Yoda does not fight, but we can see him as a strong Jedi because he saves Kenobi and Skywalker (maybe I will make him fight against Palpatine, as a single duel in the whole saga where Yoda uses the lightsaber, because Palpy is too powerful).
Obi Wan is not Anakin’s master. They are friends, and Kenobi is older and wiser, but they are the same. Two Jedi Knights, that’s all.
Of course C3PO does not appear until the end, in the marriage scene. I don’t think we need an introduction. He is one of Padmé’s droids. That’s all.
I tried to show Palpatine as a good guy. We should not have any doubts about him, during this movie. I don’t know if I managed it, but when he speaks I added “positive” music tracks, like the Force theme or the Alliance theme from ROTJ, to make the audience believe he is a good guy.

It’s not revolutionary, it’s not perfect, and there are some problems which I noticed myself (some color correction and the deleted scene having a poorer quality compared to the rest of the movie, first of all). If I will return to this I will change something. But at least for now this is it.
Of course these are MY opinions, but considering that I’m the one who made the edit, I’m not a reliable judge for this.

This is just a test. I like this music (it’s the track from the last Game of Thrones’ episode), but it’s too different from the classic JW style.
Anyway, I was just trying to have a different montage, showing the meeting Dooku/Palpy as a plot twist…

Could anyone tell me if the crawl sounds ok?
I’m not British nor American, so I’d really like to know if it’s ok, or if the first one was better.

Thank you both, I think I’ll do as you say. I tried making Obi Wan’s voice work, but each time it sounds a little bit off…
I’ll keep Obi Wan saying “Escorting senator Amidala home”, and then show the marriage…

As you can see from the clip, I changed a bit the ending.
But just before Anakin and Padme’s marriage, Windu asks to Obi Wan “Where’s your apprentice?”.
Considering that I don’t want Anakin to be Obi Wan’s apprentice, but at the same time I need Windu to ask where Anakin is, I don’t know how to make this work.
I tried adding the word “Anakin” to Windu, to make him say “Where’s Anakin?”, but it doesn’t work well.
Does anyone have suggestions?

PS: I’m thinking that I can leave 3PO here. He is not built by Anakin, but we don’t actually need an introduction. He is just one of Padme’s droids, or something like that.

The main problem with PT’s Yoda is the eyes, IMHO. Too different from puppet Yoda.

Problem solved. I can’t change Windu’s lightsaber. I work on the edit with Sony Vegas, and even with a frame-by-frame masking, the color change on his lightsaber looks awful… But I finished Dooku’s saber CC 😉
