MORE CHANGES!!! (for the 2004 OT DVD release)
Time
The novel based on the movie, and the one released before the movie are the same book.

As for the Emperor thing, I dunno man.
To me Lucas is a genious, he came up with the best story ever told.
So I like to think he knew esactly what he had in mind.

Thing is, Lucas has always said that Star Wars is meant to bee seen from the point of view of 3PO and R2. So he must of had the actors in mind to reprise all their roles when making the PT. I don't think anyone else could play 3PO aswel as Antony Daniels (Although I'm not super keen with what they done to 3PO in AOTC..The slapstick stuff that is...but thats just a minor niggle).

So yeah, Lucas had the all the actors who could reprise thier roles in the PT from the OT in mind!!

Oh I don't know, I'm just going on now...I don't even knoe WTF I'm on about anymore!!

Thing is, I've always spoilt it for myself, ever since Empire came out.

All the time I used to read the books before I saw the film, apart from TPM.
But with Jedi, man, I read the Storybook before I saw the film, and it didn't spoil a thing for me. I was a kid though.
I still say, the day I saw Jedi in the cinema for the first time, is still one of the happiest memories I have with Star Wars.

I try to too, but it's hard.

Trailers though, oh man I can't wait to see the new trailer.

By the time AOTC came out, I read the script, listened to the soundtrack ( Man when I heard the Imperial march I nearly wet myself), I basically found out way too much.

I still have year to go on this one, and I've alredy read too much!
But at this point, many things change, and my memory is shit, so I'm not feeling too bad about it!

They'll either just being movie representations of the EU that someone else came with (in which case, they could be cool), or something completely differant which would definitly suck cuz it's all from GL.

GL really reminds me of one of those really really sick people who can't let go of the death of a loved one or something, so they steal the body and have it stuffed. A little like Norman Bates..."he was never completely Norman, but often completely Mrs. Bates..."

Shut up man!!!

GL sucks this, GL sucks that!!

What a stupid thing to say, "George Lucas shouldn't be allowed to touch Star Wars again".......He is Star Wars man...

Without him there wouldn't even be a Star Wars...

Man!

Plot holes in the SW saga
Time
This is from Theforce.net - Just the facts page..

So it'a all official shit

"Episode III will 'surprise, amaze and shock.' It will be the darkest of the six saga films it will tie the series together in 'unexpected and surprising' ways." - Sansweet

"The script will bridge all gaps between the PT and he OT". - AD

"The story of Ep3 will be enjoyable as the conclusion of the saga. It is dramatic, believable, frightening, sad, moving, hurtful, and human. It is the missing key to a story fans have admired and remembered for so long". - AD

Ep3 will answer many (if not all) questions, and will merge seamlessly with Ep4. -PE

"From a certain point of view", nothing said in Ep3 will contradict anything said in Ep4. -PE

EIII will make you go back and look at EI and EII in new and different ways. There are small clues and hints in TPM and AotC that we may not have paid attention to, but which will become more important once we see EIII. -PH

"Episode III also ties in beautifully with all the other movies. And when I read the script, I was really surprised by how emotional it is. Everyone working on the film took so much care with it. Nobody wants to get it wrong." -NG

Plot holes in the SW saga
Time
I keep coming back to this thread coz it's driving me mad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just name some goddamn plot holes for Christ sake!

There are no plot holes........................................................................................................!

There may be the odd mistake, visual or technical, but as for the story itself, and it's the stort that usualy has the bloody plot holes, there are none.

No one here can come up with any!

You all go on about Padme and the fucking hanger, but thats not a plot hole, theres reasons behind that shit..

I want a list of these so called plot holes, and untill someone here can list them, I'll just say I'm right and you're wrong!!!!

Would you go on about plot holes after watching Empire for the first time??

Errr to discuss, is to have an opinion.....Which I do, and so do you!

But to go on about fucking plot holes which just aren't there is crap! When Episode 3 comes out, and we find the film to be a big bag of shite, full of plot holes and mistakes, fair enough, go on about them.

But at this moment my point is, and the point of this thread, is that there are no plot holes at this moment in Episodes 1 & 2, or 456 for that matter.

Everything can be explained quite easily, if you take the time to watch the films, or read other peolple's point of view, you'll see that there are no PLOT HOLES....

Man o Man

Thanks
