I take some of what i said Back...

Yes I enjoyed St:TNG when it was on...watch it now and it's pretty lame...
Yes I enjoyed Quantem Leap when it was on...It's Ok now!

The thing is, not so long ago my dickhead mate from work always kept going on about how they were going to make a TV show on Star Wars, and I kept saying dont talk shit man...

Now if it all comes true, I'm the one who's gonna be eating shit...and I ain't happy about it!!

But the thought of SW the TV series still fills me with dread, and if it's true when they are basing it, pre Ep4, then man, who's gonna play Vader...

If the TV show ran for about 12 episodes, then yes it actaully could work quite well!!

I dunno man, I have a bad feeling about this!!

Sean writes in with this cool report to confirm work on a SW TV Show is most definitely happening:
I asked him about Star Wars' future and he got really excited and told me in thinly veiled comments that it is going to TV (live-action) . He couldn't go into details because he was under a legal contract.
So I asked this gentlemen if the show was pre-EP4, he said maybe with a smile, then I asked about Vader, and he had the same response, same with Chewbacca, same with Tarkin. Anyways he said Lucasfilm was really excited about this, and he did mention that there were to be no Episodes 7-9.

We've got more coming this week, but let's just say a TV Show is a definite thing, according to documents being distributed to licensees and marketing people now.

Also back in the good ol' days, when I used to buy the original figures. When a set came out before the film (JEDI) on the backs were many characters you never heard of before, aswel as Luke in his Jedi gear etc...Is that a spoiler???

Just wait untill the 30th Anniversary box set thing is out, I bet, and I truly think this will happen, that when this ultimate edition comes out, we'll have both the OT and the new stuff. All in one box set simular to the Alien set.

Well, it would a least shut alot of people up, and then everybody's happy!!

Exactly.
Some of the acting may be a little off, and some of the effects may be too much, but as for the story, well you can't beat that!

Sit down, relax and just think of the PT and the OT and just see how well everything starts to fit together!

For instance, I could never understand why Vader would pilot his Tie Fighter in ANH, I mean could be a little risky, but because of the PT and especially 3, we see that Anakin is one hot shot pilot...thats just one example!

I could go on and on, on why the PT works well and just expands on the OT.

I love the original films, have done most of my life, and to be honest I was a little gutted when I first saw TPM.
But after a while, and especially when I bought it on VHS, i just loved it. Couldn't get enough.
So when AOTC came to the cinema, I knew what to expect, in the way it was filmed, special effects, story etc.

So if some of you all hate the PT so much, why watch them. Go rent Police acedemy or something, coz theres alot of people here who do like them, and get sick of hearing how Luycxas 'raped their childhood' or 'Lucas is a hack who fucked up and should give it to someone else'. Man!!
