Personally, I don't really care about this project because it's something the rest of us will never get to see. I'm much more interested in the X0 project because it will actually be released.

As for using the Cowclops transfer, well, Moth3r's transfers are great, but I don't have his Empire or Jedi, and I used the first Cowclops (TR47) transfer for the ANH Classic Edition anyway, I kind of consider myself a Cowclops stalwart.
Have you considered using Dr. M's Re-inventing the Wheel version of ESB? It is wonderous & I could get you a copy if you like.

The film is presented in a “Pan & Scan” format; as no widescreen footage of the extended cut scenes is available at the current time of this reedit production.
So uh, are you all going to be re-doing it once the Widescreen version comes out in December? This Christmas

The blue brings out the snow battle so much better IMHO!
Well if you like that, but also want Han's hands & Vader's lightsaber not to be pink, check out Doctor M's re-inventing the wheel edition of ESB...it's purtyful

.it is illegal even if they have a copy of the laser discs. now if the library goes and takes their copy and makes a dvd backup of that, then its a legal copy.
Like they couldn't say that it was their copy...seriously, who the hell could tell the difference if there are no menus?
I'd go and do a transfer of it myself of theirs if I had te equip/know-how....

Well i'd point you out to the thread that covered this, i.e. - Another 2004 Trilogy DVD screw-up? but for some reason it's offline even though it's in the ***Index of Linked Noteworthy Threads for Info & Help***
There was also some other forum thats like OT.com that had some information on it, but I can't recall the name as it was a site someone here linked to...but in short they cropped it substantially for the new ones and a nit-picky as it is, some people (myself included) can't stand to see poor Han get his smuggler digits cut off like that.

count yourself lucky you have access to all those LDs. if you felt like, you could help the rest of us preserve some rare LDs to dvd.
Unfortunately though I have no access to any sort of LD-to-DVD equipment, else I most surely would be..
