A Question of Ewoks
Time
So i've always found that I for one, am always in a minority of Star Wars fans whenever I begin to express any of my love for Ewoks. Especially the Ewok movies, which I still think should have been the only prequels of a sort ever made due to their not disturbing any continuity and expanding/giving more history to a very good innovation. Yes, I always thought having a primitive race like them combining with the Rebels to crush the Empire at Endor was a stroke of brilliance. Consequently i'm also more a fan of Jedi than Empire...but not just becuase of the Ewoks of course.

I'm very familar with all the hatred for them over the years, and it always pertubs me to hear so many people bash Jedi over the Ewoks. (cue Clerks quote: "..all Jedi had was a bunch of muppets..") However I don't think anyone can hate truly hate the Ewoks these days seeing as their role as 'hated race' in SW has been effectivly taken over by Jar-Jar & Gungans...at least I think so.

So my main query then is, how many of you who love the original trilogy also love the Ewok movies? And also, what type of fan?

These were emailed to me by another fan

That would be me! Anyhow, a big awesome thanks that you were able to find them...I don't have any clue as to who made them either, but my set came from a guy in London so who knows?

Hm, wrong thread here, but while i'm thinking of it, any idea as to what covers the new Cowclops transfer is going to use?

Lucas is a schmuck who blew the opportunity of a lifetime. His name could have been right up there next to Tolkien as one of the greatest storytellers of the modern age and he blew the whole thing by not putting in the effort it deserved.

Thats why I come here, so many people who see the light. Lucas has indeed fucked it all up for everyone. He messed with something that wasn't broken. And in the process made quite possibly the biggest movie franchise in history into a laughing stock....you read my thoughts exactly...man, what a fuckin' sausage jockey.

they are similar to a set Rikter has - he may know (or be) the owner of that set... IIRC someone on novastation.com siad they were doing something very similar to that around 5/6 months ago?

So does Rikter have a website setup like Grisan's that I can find them on? And if he doesn't, any advice on how would I best go about finding this IIRC you mention then?

The Cowclops Transfers (a.k.a. the PCM audio DVD's, Row47 set) Info and Feedback Thread (Released)
Time
Greetings all,

Truly an amazing forum here; I never dreamed any amount of people with a real passion for Star Wars would ever have be able to mount such a collective effort in pursuing the presevation of that which Gerogie (porgie) Lucas has sought to so destroy.

Just recently I finally got ahold of the TR-47 versions for my own collection and though I haven't got around to seeing them just yet, i'm already kicking myself in that these new Cowclops transfers sound so good. I suppose like everyone else though it's never bad to have more than one set though...

So, is there now a definitive date we can expect for this release or at this stage is it still too early?

Heh, Risk is mostly just luck. You just have to get the right dice rolls. You could have the worst strategy in the world, but you'd still win aslong as you had good rolls.

Oh indeed it is! Thats why Axis & Allies exists...because with it the rolls only matter for so much.

Risk played with A&A rules coincidently is rather grand & fair.
