It's a simple enough question. Why do Stormtroopers need to have their 'radios' or speaking devices click on and off when they say things, but the Clones do not?

I would really like to see someone that is doing an edit of the PT to address this, if they haven't already.

Not true. Take the opening of Empire Strikes Back. The scene didn't change, but Lucas dropped a wonderful cue of Williams and went for basically no music. And I'm still not buying that Williams didn't score the 'bridge scene' in ROTS.

To the person that said the unaltered scores are released, AOTC's full score hasn't been released. Williams put together a nice little cue for the finale scenes before the iris to lead into the composed 'credits' music. Lucas scraped it and stuck the Imperial March in there.

Lucas has cut a TON of Williams music, even in the original films. Williams sees the film one way, Lucas sees it as another. I have no problem with that. I just wish they would release Williams original scores in the end.

By removing alot of the plot points of Naboo, you don't get the 'Oh Crap' moment when she realizes that much of what has happened is her fault.

It's nice to see people contributing, alteast to show that (even if they aren't perfect) they are atleast somewhat correctly colored, something LFL just straight up chose not to do. I don't understand how you can invent some idea like the lightsaber, and then not know how to do it 30 years later.

Right, but even watching it on my TV I can't see the slugs if I have the picture configured right. However, the slugs are still there.

Yeah, it's basically the very start of the race and the last lap are very well done with the score. Was there no score in the original? What track did you use for most of the other, because it seems to repeat itself alot. I mean, not horribly, but after 5 viewings of that scene you notice.

Oh man, I just finished the Pod Race before I had to go to work. In the middle of it, the music could use alittle spice, but I will tell you what: This redone score is truly wonderful. I've only in passing enjoyed TPM, just something to sit back and watch. However, hearing that classical Star Wars score in the background of the Pod Race gave me goose bumps, similiar to during ROTS during the 'twin suns' scene.

Bravo. One thing I would say is to punch it up alittle bit. The soundtrack disappears over the sound effects sometimes. That's all.

ADM, I'm about 40 minutes into your TPM edit and I'll be able to give you a full critique when I'm done. The stuff is just technical things, like audio drops and the subtitles being gianormous. Other than that, I like it.

Something that I thought about watching it, has anyone ever tried to take the 'ahs' out of the Gungan dialect? Since they are CGI and the lips match up just barely, it wouldn't be a problem with lipsynch. However, it would be alot of work. I just think their dialogue wouldn't be so bad if they used improper English, but didn't have the 'ahs' after everything.

If you are hinting at what it will make, it will probably end up at $384-$400 million. If it were to get released in IMAX, which may happen if Batman and WOTW don't do as expected, it will definently get to $400 million. That's all domestic, of course.

I think the first run theaters have it for atleast 12 weeks (that was the max contract). Then the second run theaters will get it for weeks, I'm sure as it is making HUGE money.

Yeah, and the second most quoted and misquoted line in film history was not on there "No. I am your father."

I love that they used that Harrison Ford clip, because he is straight up laughing in Luke's face. Everytime I see that, I can't figure out why they left it in there.
