I have nothing whatsoever against trying to "complete" his films, or whatever he calls it.

It's the not letting the originals be released too that I am disgusted with.

I hope the Trilogy get's so jacked and screwed royally up with further "changes".

To show them SE lovers what it feels like to get screwed by Lucasfilm.

And so I can laugh at them. Maybe if it gets bad enough, an ever more general outcry for the originals will be heard.

We only had a few movies, like Indiana Jones and Grease on BETA.

I've had Star Wars on pan-n-scan SE VHS, widescreen SE VHS, pan-n-scan original Laserdisc, and my *precious* widescreen original laserdiscs.

And soon DVDrs.

I used to have a BETA player.

It was better than VHS, but still not worth keeping. (I may as well get rid of my VCR too, since I have Star Wars on laserdisc.)

^^^It's not fullscreen.

But it's made for 4:3 TVs because it isn't anamorphic.

Don't worry though, it's widescreen.

One other nitpick, they have somethign saying "fullscreen version" at the bottom.

I just blacked that part out of mine on paint. But I thought you'd like to know.

Excellent work, Cerbero.

It's hard deciding between these covers and the 'Faces' covers that Rikter made.

But since he's who I'm getting the DVDs from anyway, I'll use his cover for the films and Cerbero's supplemental material cover for the extras on disc 4.

Did everyone get that? They'll be a test later.

Not to be a wet blanket, but Jay says no SE bootleg discussion.

Of course, the reason is b/c it's announced for DVD release anyway. And since it technically isn't the "SE", I don't know his take on it.
