Whenever George has a whimsical idea, Rick is right there to say, "that's f*cking awesome." I couldn't even stand to sit through the ROTS commentary all the way, with Rick saying "Oh God, I love this part and they did such a f**** fantastic job" every time the power-point transitions wiped to a new scene. I thought that podblast ROTS commentary with people making fun of it and belching was more informative than that.
How do I take footage shot in daylight, and filter it so it looks like it was shot in moonlight at night? What programs would work? I'm using Windows XP.
The scene in question is from AOTC, where Anakin and Padme are on the padio overlooking the lake.
Man, I'd sure never want to sit through an extended AOTC. The movie itself before end credits is almost 2 1/2 hours. Whoo, that's just too much for me. Even the normal length is too long. Makes me reappreciate that my personal edit is only 2 hours long.
ROTS is about the same, and I haven't tried TPM yet.
Ah, well then I'll stop editing my own. Thanks for telling me.
Do you mean you did another three edits, that only put in the deleted scenes without any other changes? If so, where in AOTC did you stick in the family scenes without removing any other scenes?
I heard a test sound clip earlier of what sounded like a morphed audio combo of the original and new voices, saying "yes... yeeesss..." It sounded really good, are you still going to use this?
And the idea of recreating the original scene with Ian sounds great, and the "yes, yeeesss" would fit that.
I'm psyched to see your new version of the Palpy phone call scene. Sounds like we'll get what we hoped for when we heard reports that they were putting Ian back into the scene. If you can't find a useable audio recording of "Luke", you can use the word "young" from "the young rebel who destroyed...".
"We have a new enemy: Young Skywalker."
Just a thought, although 'Luke' would be better. Sounds great.
Before I decided to leave the titles alone for my edit, I thought calling TPM "Cloak of Deception" after the novel that happens prior to it was a good idea. Then AOTC was to be "The Approaching Storm", and ROTS "Labyrinth of Evil".
I agree with whoever said it before me: My official ANH DVD will never be played again.
There's so many great versions! My favorite to watch is the ADigitalMan/DarthEditous combo. When I get ahold of this edit, I want to make a combo of it as well.
