EMPIRE FORCE
EMPIRE FORCE
Welcome to the forums, and thanks for the kudos!
If you're looking for a "hurry up and get through it" cut of TPM, I'd recommend Secior's version. It'd be a great choice for a marathon.

B) bad ass
I see what you did there.
But, you're the one wh-- nevermind.
My guess for th scene is the nighttime Jedi Council meeting, but I don't know for sure.
I'd like to see it, if there's another place to upload it.
I think the suggested retcon for Tarkin's comment is that he surely would have been killed by then. Not defending it, just stating it.
No problem from me!
It probably got knocked around pretty hard as it ricocheted into oblivion down Cloud City's world famous garbage tunnel.
My plan was to withdraw from Star Wars news items, regardless of "spoiler" status, once the marketing wave hits. I'm going ahead and doing this now, since some of these things are starting to leak. I do plan on seeing the trailer, but avoiding any breakdowns or examinations of it by others. Starting November 1st, which is a completely arbitrary date, I will go under completely and withdraw from any Star Wars related sites, including here. I will probably stay subscribed to certain threads, though, especially ones I've started.
That being said, I really am glad that I still don't know the plot of the new movie. With the prequels, there wasn't really much to get antsy about. Take Rey, for example. I don't know who she is in relation to the other characters. I can speculate, but I think it's great that I don't know for sure. I'd like to keep it that way, though it'd be very difficult to restrain myself from the trailer, which will be an experience all its own. I will just have to trust that JJ and company know what they're doing.
Also, in an apparent contradiction, I do plan on reading Aftermath and Shattered Empire during my Nov-Dec blackout. Even if it gives me some hints about the story, it'll just be how I go into it.
Nah, just was wondering. I'm going to avoid anything from here on out related to Star Wars news, save the trailer itself. With things like "TFA Monopoly" being released in a few weeks, it's time to duck and cover.
EDIT: Removed non-cromulent word choice
Who is and isn't planning on seeing the trailer once it's released?
Makes perfect sense to me.
Come to think of it, the HDTV source material for AOTC and ROTS isn't much more than ~17GB, right? It probably wouldn't be as much of an advantage as for TPM.
Count me in.
It describes them as "previously released" material, so I very much doubt it'll have anything at all new.
Oh, and the commentary tracks were only included with V2. V3 was changed enough that it would need to be hacked up to sync. Myspleen is going to be the only place they reside now, though I still seed the DVD versions of v2 for this reason. PM me if you need help getting them.
Wow, you've got keen sensibilities. Your trailers are very engaging!
Just noticed that you had uploaded a 50GB version of your TPM regrade. That's some serious dedication, and something great to have archived. I wonder if you had planned on giving the same treatment to your AOTC and ROTS regrades?
Also, while the TPM regrade has no burnt-in subtitles, AOTC does. Would it be easily done to upload the handful of affected shots without the subtitles?
JEDIT: Of course not; they're part of the source material!
I can't believe at one point my sig linked to my teenage Xanga page.
Replace Jar Jar with Brak.
(Just a friendly reminder to check your PMs.)
I endorse this.
That's actually a very good point.
If you're on a Mac, like me, something like Quicktime might even be enough. As long as you can be frame-specific, just clip it from the first frame of the Star Wars logo to perhaps the last frame of the opening shot. For a simple, one-time use, anything that allows you to "trim," should work.
