Would it be possible to regenerate our two new Leia lines? (“He’s too dangerous” and “A Jedi needs her weapon.”) They don’t sound bad, but they’re crispier and cracklier than the other AI lines.

And I wonder if we can do any better of a line for Poe about the Final Order fleet than “Each ship has been modified with dreadnaught-tier laser cannons.” I think if it had been in the theatrical I’d have rolled my eyes real hard. Perhaps something like, “Our forces (or The Republic’s forces) are completely inferior,” or “We couldn’t hope to challenge them.”

Yeah, I’m aware of that. But it seems like it’s either keep that or don’t remove them otherwise so I decided it was all right to leave. But thanks for highlighting it.

To clarify: THIS THREAD IS JUST FOR FUN, NO ONE IS BEING HELD AGAINST THEIR WILL AND NO ONE HAS COMMITTED ANY CRIMES OR BROKEN ANY FORUM RULES

In this thread there are ten inmates who must pass the time however they’d like but they are not able to leave. You must not post in any other thread until you have served your sentence. The only alternative is to use one post to narrate being killed by Jailbot and then nominate your replacement.

Once one of them has made five non-consecutive posts, they may name another forum member as their substitute. They will name them here and send them a link to this post via PM informing them of their jailed status.

If a full week goes by with no posts from an inmate they will be considered to have escaped or been killed by Jailbot. When this happens, anyone is free to take their place in jail and serve out their ten-post sentence.

Visitors should be sparse, and are forbidden from smuggling in any contraband materials.

This jail sort of relies on the honor system, though, since Jailbot is inept. Please do not escape.

Opera scene (excised mention of Greivous intel, since it’s not followed up with for a while)
Yoda’s counseling session
Anakin misses briefing and Obi-Wan warns him of Palpatine
Palpatine appoints Anakin to Jedi Council
Council doesn’t like this
Bail’s apartment deleted scene
Anakin is asked to spy on Palpatine
Jedi traffic scene
Anakin and Padme talk about their political views and have a bad time
Troops setting up on Khshyyyk, and LOE continues more or less the same from here until the ending (same as current alternate version ending)

Well, after a ton of hassle and setbacks, V8 is finally released. It’s primarily an update of the alternate (Padme Dies) version, but I included the few relevant tweaks for the main version as well.

This is it. Last time I will update LOE, and this is the final word on this project. I simply can’t do it again. Or, won’t, at least, but firmly.

People can still give feedback and stuff, but… this is the end. It’s done now. Thanks again to everyone who helped make this what it has become. But after I update COD to reflect TMWNN’s visual tweaks, I’m going to swear off working on these three prequel fan edit projects for life. I love them and all, but they need to be done.

For the main version, I further trimmed the elevator action, added sade1212’s FX shot of Palpatine unleashing the power of his face, reinstated two lines of dialogue during Anakin’s knighting, and took a slightly different approach with Anakin and Padme’s Mustafar conversation.

For the alternate version, I adjusted the sequence of scenes in the second act as described a few posts ago. I believe this holds faithful to what LOE has been from the start while fitting better with the theatrical ending in which Padme still dies.

Mainly forthcoming FX fixes from TMWNN. He announced doing so in his own threat and what he was doing seemed like I may as well just make it an official update.

Well, I probably wouldn’t have things like that be audible, large canon defining stuff.

But if someone sent me “I’m Jar Jar and I’m pooping my pants,” I’d still include it to maintain including something from everyone even if I’d bury it in the mix.

I’ll take it. Even though I would personally love a sort of fan editing curtain call of variations of people’s screen names as insert characters.

And hey, if you want your own voice I can make it part of the background chatter that isn’t audible clearly at all. There are dozens of audio clips in there and you can only clearly hear a small subset.

Also, anyone reading this who has not yet sent me an audio clip of them ‘signing in’ or whatever for the end battle, please do so that I can include you. I would love to have had every single person who contributed to this project be shoved into that sequence!
