I’m just not sure how to encorporate Ben in the Finale. Maybe remove the Rey Skywalker scene and add Ben in the last scene with Rey.

Here’s my take, a little less wordy but trying to make the same point as yours.

Maybe we can create a ghostly sounding version of Palpatine’s lines of “Find me, and your journey towards the dark side will be complete!” with a reaction shot from Kylo.
I’ll try to throw something together tonight.
Save the Fortnite message for the beginning of IX when the Star Destroyers are rising out of the ice.
Some changes for a potential V3:
From Hal 9000’s V3:
Add Emperor laughing as Luke looks into Kylo’s mind during the third and final flashback
Remove Snoke’s line about “destroying the entire island” due to removal of Caretakers
Reinstate Finn’s line about “miniaturized Death Star tech” as it unfortunately ties into IX.
Removed slow-motion shot as Luke dodges a swipe from Kylo during their duel
Other Changes:
Add Rey seeing a flash of Palpatine to her mirror vision?
Remove mentions of Rey being “Nobody” and her parents death during Kylo’s speech.
Remove Leia saying that she knows her son is gone, since in IX she still believes he can be turned.
Find some way to include Palpatine at the end to give us something to be excited for IX about. The scene could be placed between the Falcon in Hyperspace and Broom Boi.
JEDIT: Removed change for “miniaturized Death Star tech” as Hal is removing it in his version.
You can cut the dagger outline. When Finn or Poe (can’t remember who said it) said that it would take them forever to find it, cut to them asking where Rey went. Assume Rey is using the force to find the location of the wayfinder within DSII
In my headcanon,
Palpatine DID die.
Sith are known to be able to possess objects (Darth Bane in Clone Wars)
Palpatine possessed his own corpse using the darkside and survived in the wreckage of the Death Star II. When Ochie found the Death Star II remains he discovered Palpatine. Palpatine instructed him to take his body to Exegol and the dark side worshipers (Aftermath book series) grouped up on the planet.
Palpatine’s plan all along was to get Rey to come to him so that he could possess her. He knew Ben would not kill her, so he told him to in the hopes that he would bring her to him or she would come own her own.
When Rey refused to “strike him down” Palpatine decides to drain her life force, like he did for Padme, to restore his own health.
As for the Snoke situation, until Palpatine was ready he wanted to throw off Luke to his scent. What better way to do that then to make a puppet version of yourself. It is a little wonky but definitely something Palps would do.
I would make it obvious and loud. It helps cement Luke’s decision to ignite his blade.
It also helps to show how Palps manipulated Luke and played on his PTSD
Hey Poppasketti, love your edit! Right now on the TLJ: Legendary board there is talk of adding in Palpatine’s laugh to Luke’s vision of Ben. Is this something you would consider for a potential V3?

I am guessing that after TROS there will be a V4 of TFA:R, and a V3 of TLJ:L to remove any inconsistencies in the trilogy.
If Obi Wan does not play a role in TROS would that warrant removing the “Rey, these are your first steps” line from her vision since there would be no connection between Rey and Obi Wan in this trilogy?
Also, since Palpatine is back maybe there could be a way to better hint that in TFA and TLJ.

Obi Wan’s line in TFA could be replaced by Palpatine using the quotes below:
“Oh, I’m afRAId the deflector shield will be quite operational when your friends arrive.”

“…fulfill your destiny”
Palpatine: “Rey, fulfill your destiny.”
Does that mean a new version is coming soon?
I know this might not be a popular idea, but for the final version of V3 I really think Yoda’s “Ahh, read them have you? Page turners they not!” joke should get cut out. By having Luke basically confirm that he didn’t even read any of the texts makes him seem childish in his behavior and hurts his change of heart. Why would Luke be so concerned about the text and protecting the legacy of the Jedi if he didn’t even bother to read the ancient texts? I think the scene would work and flow much better without the MCU-style humor.
Basically the dialogue would pace out as follow:
Luke: “The sacred Jedi texts!”
cut out joke and Luke’s reaction shot
Yoda: “Yes, yes, yes. Wisdom they held, but that library contains nothing that the girl Rey does not already possess.”
The droids are removed from the birthing scene perfectly, but you can still see R2 in the reflection on the window. A small nitpick to an otherwise great change!

I personally like it without the Yoda scene so the pacing goes (mother, father, daughter, son)

How goes the progress on V6?
Have Snoke be a possessed darkside worshiper that Palpatine’s spirit took over.
If Palps is supposed to be in Episode 9, then that would be the best way to retcon him as the true villain of the sequel trilogy.
Have him take over Kylo Ren and Ben sacrifices himself to save Rey during the final battle. Palps would not have any dark siders to possess and it would be over.
Leia dies from ongoing sickness/injury from her spacewalk in TLJ at the end of the movie and we end with all of the heroes at her funeral and all of the Jedi’s force ghosts show up to honor her and mark the prophecy as fullfilled. Thus, the Skywalker bloodline is over and we end the saga with a group shot of everyone.

It would be good for you to use to remove dialogue if needed, but as an additional audio track, I don’t expect many would care.

I think I have a good idea for the Anakin/Padme scene in the garage that you should give a second chance.
Scene flow:
Padme: "you’re not all powerful
Anakin: “well I should be!”
Cut to Padme saying “Anakin!”
Cut to angry Anakin calming and sitting down and saying he should be better that this even though you can tell he is questioning it
Padme just sees it as him lashing out after his mom died and comforts him but what the scene really shows is the conflict building in Anakin that he wants to be more powerful and that as a jedi he shouldn’t think that way. It plays well into your version in LOE and starts to hint at Anakin’s turn to be more powerful.
