Well being that Shaw is in Hal’s Ep.6 edit, I’m sure he’d be down for putting it in Ascendant if Jonh delivers!
The beginning can have more of the Skywalker theme lead in. However, I like how it starts with Rey’s theme but ends with just a few notes of the good 'ol Star Wars theme. Gives it that bittersweet ending this saga should have had.
Speaking of the ending, the music transition into “Directed by JJ Abrams” still feels weird. I know it’s been discussed a lot, so sorry if it’s already been decided upon and everything. It’s, like, abrupt and there is no flow or the usual “jolt” feeling you get when the credits roll. It just feels jarring and jump cut in the audio. I’m sure it’s incredibly difficult to get a proper timing with what appears to be two seperate audio tracks, but it’s just not feeling right.
Could it just be because of how we’re hearing the music as the Falcon is slowly entering hyperspace? Is the timing just all out of whack for my liking?
+1, I was a strong supporter of letting the music play out a little more because the timing cuts in perfectly.

has any thought been given to trimming the opening notes of burning homestead for the ghost scene to help make the tacked on music flow in a little better? I can post a mockup of it shortly!
I think if the first 2 notes were cut from Burning Homestead it would make the music flow clearer. Cut out the buh buhhhhhhh, before the force theme kicks in and it should have a much more natural sounding transition with the existing music.
It would be awesome if it could stick with the original music and play Rey’s motif when she takes the lightsaber and then go silent and then pick back up when the lightening starts.

Totally agree! It would be nice though to see a de-blued Luke ghost until Jonh finishes giving him his haircut.
Also, it seems on 8/21 Disney is releasing an Official Score for Jedi Fallen Order. There may be some musical cues from there possibly worth utilizing.
Is there anything on your list that would bring about a new workprint, or are we in the endgame now?

I hate to be a pain, but I don’t think it is super convincing just yet.
I think if the ship descended much slower, and if the smoke was more transparnet to the background it would work much better. As a bonus, it would be nice to see some Naboo starfighters flying away from the destroyer, even if it is just some small ships instead of one big ship blowing up with nothing around it.
Are the stormtroopers still going to say “Knights of Ren… Ghouls” or are you planning on making them silent and just look at each other? Seems like half of us thought they were saying “cool”.
I would love for them to be silent and just have that look of unease. We don’t need them to give us story details.
Just skimmed the Workprint. Loving all the changes. Gray Exegol rocks! Only issue I noticed is that the rest of the LUT makes the picture a LOT warmer and more red.

JEDIT: Almost there! Looks like the Star Wars logo is a little bit too big. Maybe make the white lines a tad-bit thicker. Other than that, it looks amazing!

Are you able to make the purple hue a stronger red? It might make it seem like a conflict with the blue on the left and red on the right. Just a thought!
